Chaffee County and the Arkansas River Valley has an overwhelming variety of recreation opportunities. What are you into, and whereabouts do you want to make camp? Happy to make recommendations. The camper is based in Salida. There's an abundance of 14k ft peaks to hike, miles and miles of mountain biking trails hot springs to soak in, rapids to float and endless miles of jeep roads to explore. I've vacationed in this area for 7 years and have lived here for 2. Happy to point you in the right direction based on your interests.
Autres points à signaler
Pets are welcome, but you are required to crate them if left unattended in the camper. Separation anxiety often leads to damage that you will be liable for. Please do not allow pets on the furniture or beds. If you'd like to use the shower, sink and toilet, please plan on dumping the tanks before returning. I charge $75 to handle the grey and black water dump after your stay if you don't have the time or know-how. Only put RV toilet paper provided down the toilet. No disposable wipes or feminine hygiene products can go down. Please be conscious of the height while navigating to your campsite. Low hanging limbs can be hazardous and avoid all drive throughs. Please drive slow on dirt roads. Campers are built to be light, not durable which means when the going gets rough while towing you need to take it easy so it doesn't shake itself to bits. This trailer requires a 2" ball. I have one upon request if needed.
