Franklin Springs is also home to the beautiful, quiet campus of Emmanuel Collage.
Tugaloo State Park is on Lake Hartwell in Lavonia, Georgia. They are adding to the playground within the camping area and already it is one of our favorite playgrounds. We often meet friends at the beach or for putt-putt or hiking. They also have great fishing, often hosting tournaments and they have several places to launch your boat. From Tugaloo it is a short drive into Lavonia and Toccoa for shopping, small concerts, parks, coffee shops, and some great antique stores. Toccoa also has Currahee Mountain, where paratroopers where trained during WW2 (see the movie Band of Brothers). A military museum is now in the old train depot.
There are also several campgrounds in Hartwell GA and many places to shop and swim. The weekend before 4th of July Hartwell is full of festivals and fireworks. At the base of the Appalachians Mountains there are so many waterfalls and trails to explore in Northeast GA and Northwest SC. The camping opportunities are many!As well as finding many fun RV parks in the North GA & SC mountains, we have also loved being on Lakes Lanier and Oconee.
And lets not leave out Tiger, Helen, Hiwassee, Cleveland, Suches, Dahlonega, Washington, Thomson, Madison, Westminster, Clemson, Seneca, Walhalla... There's just so many beautiful places to enjoy!

Here's a list of do's and don'ts to help you enjoy our camper
Rule - Consequence
-Have fun - not having fun will just be no fun!
-No smoking anything (legal or illegal) - $500 cleaning fee if we suspect you've lit anything up in the camper. If we suspect you've used illicit drugs we will call the authorities.
-No pets - $500 cleaning fee - help us keep allergens down and leave your pets at home (or board them)
-Take care of the awning: Don't hang things from the awning; Retract the awning in inclement weather, when towing, or when you will be away from the camper for more than an hour - breaking the awning will forfeit your entire deposit
- Do NOT get on the roof - if you suspect an issue please call us - if you have been on the roof (without our permission) the fee will be any extra cleaning or repair cost plus time.
-Empty the dump tanks - you tow it you dump it - $75 dumping fee if you bring it back full (If we deliver there are separate fees)
-Please return trailer clean - be responsible and clean up after yourself - bringing back a dirty mess will cost an additional $200 for my time
-If something happens let us know sooner rather than later - not reporting an incident or problem will cost you more. It pays to be honest and straight forward.
-No tailgating, race tracks, or boon-docking - Camper works best with full hookups (the air won't run without 30amps) - taking it to the party places always makes a mess and increases the chances of causing damage - full deposit
-Make memories - “No one can ever take your memories from you – each day is a new beginning, make good memories every day.” — Catherine Pulsifer

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We are flexible when setting up pick-up and drop-off, and delivery times. Once the times are set we try to be very prompt and expect renters to do likewise. We understand life happens - a simple curtesy phone call as soon as possible is appreciated.
We reserve the right to charge "delay time" if we must wait more than an hour for renter to arrive.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
R.
Yes. Nothing major. We will attempt to cover all of these (that we know about) at pick-up. There are also Set-up and Packing up check list to help make those processes easier. And if there are any questions along the way, we're happy to help as much as we can so that you have a great trip.
