• Rules & Guidelines for Renting Appa Smoking & Vaping No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the van. This is strictly enforced. Cooking & Kitchen Safety The stovetop and oven are for outdoor or well-ventilated use only — always open the door or windows when cooking inside. Never leave the stove or oven unattended. Make sure all burners are fully off before driving or sleeping. Keep flammable items away from the cooking area. Solar Panels & Electrical System Do not place anything on top of the solar panels — no bags, towels, wet gear, etc. This can scratch or damage the panels and block charging. Do not attempt to modify, unplug, or rewire any part of the electrical system. If something isn't working, contact us and we'll walk you through it. • Roof Rack The roof rack is available for lounging, stargazing, and enjoying the views. Please use caution when climbing up and down. Do not jump or roughhouse on the roof. Starlink & Projector Please handle the Starlink dish and projector carefully — they are expensive to replace. Stow both securely before driving. Do not leave the Starlink deployed while in transit. If either is lost or damaged, replacement cost will be deducted from the security deposit. General Care Treat Appa like your own vehicle — we've put a lot of love into this van. Please remove all trash and personal belongings before return. No illegal activity of any kind. Bed & Interior Please remove shoes before getting on the bed. Do not use permanent markers, paint, or adhesives on any interior surfaces. If converting the bed to the table (or vice versa), follow the instructions provided — forcing the mechanism can cause damage.
