Throw back to the 80’s in “Pokey”, a beautiful, original 1984 VW camper that sleeps 4Pokey is being fully refurbished over the winter of 2022 and will have brand new cabinetry and upholstery throughout. We are also installing a more modern and powerful Subaru engine. Be the one of the first renters to explore the beautiful New England Coast after the refresh. From Mystic Seaport along Rhode Island’s beautiful beaches all along the Cape, we are convinced that “Pokey” will make for life long memories. The vehicle has an impeccably maintained drivetrain & a true pleasure to drive.Imagine an earlier time rambling along sandy back roads discovering new stretches of beach & quaint spots for ice cream before heading back to the campground for a relaxing night in our spacious well appointed camper! The interior has been meticulously taken care of & features a rear sofa that converts into a full sized bed for 2. The Pop Top has a full sized bunk which also sleeps 2. Pokey has a stove, sink and now has a fridge/freezer!“Pokey” is great if you:

We are looking to help offset the cost of owning this beautiful VW Camper. I have been a car enthusiast my whole life and finally found this bus and completed the dream of owning a “Bay Window” camper. The bus is meticulously maintained and I’m happy to speak at length about the bus! We have had apartments on Airbnb for over a year with “Superhost” status and over 40 5 star ratings, so we take special care to make sure our guests are happy. Know you are renting from a true fan and beloved owner who will take the time to make sure your trip is wonderful!
