Happiest Campers - Vintage VW Camper sleeps 4 in style!

Had a great time camping in the Westy! The VW was just as advertised, and in great condition. Would rent from Tristan again.

We rented the VW for a surprise birthday camping trip with our kids. The van was comfy, clean, and well-appointed. It had all the necessary equipment needed to cook, make coffee, relax, and sleep comfortably. There were plenty of outlets and charging options. The pop-up portion with zippered screens allowed for a lot of ventilation during the warm summer day and cooled it down quickly at night. We packed a fan but found we didn’t need it. My kids especially enjoyed the narrow strip lights that lined the inside perimeter. There’s a great sound system as well so we could enjoy music via Bluetooth. Tristan, the host, was great to work with- communicative, friendly, and helpful, which ensured the best experience possible. The whole weekend was a unique & memorable trip that we won’t soon forget.

We had a great trip to Joshua Tree in Tristan's 1976 VW campervan. It was fun to relive our experiences camping in one when we were teenagers. The van has been newly updated inside and has everything we needed for living comfortably, including bedding and cooking implements, two burners for cooking, water, a sound system, and thoughtful extras (games and a Smores kit!). Everything worked well, and it was also newly fitted with solar panels and fridge, as well as convenient power, USB, and USB-C ports. Driving was as expected for a vehicle of that age without power brakes/steering - it's looser and slower to speed up and slow down than a modern car, but we drove 400 miles without problems. Living in the van was fun, and it started many conversations both with fellow campers and even on the road. Tristan was a great host, and we would rent it again if we come back to the region. We have already recommended it to friends.

Tristan was a dream to work and book with. Communication was very responsive and informative. We went the with prior to Halloween, so they had the van decorated for Halloween for us. That was AWESOME!! We got so many compliments about it and we were glad to share about it. Such a great weekend with Happy Campers.

Working with Tristan and her wife was amazing from start to finish. They went above and beyond to ensure me and my family had everything we needed!
