Quick to respond and accommodating
Owners are quick to respond, helpful, and accommodating to travel plan changes. Guests appreciated prompt communication for questions and thorough walkthroughs provided by staff.
Maneuverable and easy to drive
Van is maneuverable, fitting small spaces, and features working solar/water systems. However, multiple guests received the van dirty with maintenance lights on. AC, sliding door, bed comfort, and cooking amenities showed inconsistent performance or issues for some users.

4.0We wanted to try out RV camping but are short on experience and confidence driving large vehicles, so opted for a van. The Mantik van handled well and packed a lot of necessities, conveniences, and comforts into its smaller space, and the price was good. We enjoyed most of the features - hot & cold running water, an amazing induction stove, electricity, lights, fan, cell phone signal booster, shower, easy to drain, window covers, etc. The solar power (we never got below about 40% battery overnight) and the water tank (we used only about half) were ample. We were grateful for the pet accommodation since this trip ended up being while we were dog-sitting for one of our kids’ family. It would be fun to take it out of a developed and populated campground and into the wilderness. The video and check-in walk-throughs were thorough and helpful. An instruction sheet on the wall or counter would be helpful for future guests – we couldn’t review the video since we were off-grid and lost time trying to remember or figure out where some of the switches were, the difference between the inverter and light/electrical switches, how to turn on the cell phone booster, the fridge latch. We gave up trying to figure out how to use the power outlets without leaving the lights on all night and instead used the emergency battery we brought. The bed was cozy – the cushions seemed to slope one of us inward, and it was a bit short, but the width made up for it and the views from the windows were greeat. It was neat to have the air fryer, although it was dirty so we skipped it. We spent three days at a Forest Service Campground with three of our children and their families. The van made it quick and easy to move between our two rather separated campsites and have our belongings and conveniences of home with us. Perhaps it could be said it is a Roam Mantik van.

5.0Everything with this trip was perfect- I was a little worried based on some of the other comments, but it seems those people may have just been newer to Van camping. AC blew cold, door was easy to open etc. I would 10/10 recommend! My wife and I had a blast and this van was KEY. We were mobile with our gear at all times, ready to take on any adventure. We were able to access pull offs and attractions that campers and RV’s are simply too big for. That stop in town for groceries? Getting gas? The Van fits! Big shout out to the owners for making the process quick and easy- they were super communicative and helpful.

3.0We sadly had lots wrong with this trip. We were hoping for a luxury experience like the listing says, but just minutes after driving away the cars brake lights came on, the tire lights came on, and the car was saying it needed an oil change. We thought it was just that time but noticed the service stickers on the window saying it’s 6 months overdue for a service. Hoping those stickers were just old stickers that didn’t get removed. With no other choice we took off on the trip hoping the lights were just a fluke like the owner assured us. Through the rest of our trip, the AC never really got cold and the sliding door sometimes would open and sometimes wouldn’t leading us to have to go in through the passenger side to get into the back a lot of the time. The covers for the windows while sleeping kept falling off on us so we’d have to get back up and attached the window covers whether it was the suction cup ones or the magnetic ones. One window cover on the sliding door didn’t cover the whole window so not sure if we put that up correctly or not but there wasn’t any other way to attach it to cover the whole window. The bed also felt like we were sleeping on couch cushions that were pushed together to form a bed. We also got the van in a dirty exterior condition with bugs all over the windshield. The owners communication was prompt though whenever we had a question, we just wish we knew this wasn’t going to be a luxury experience when that’s what we were expecting with paying the higher rate for this one over others.

2.0Pictures on the listing look great, but we were underwhelmed once we picked it up. This is our 4th van rental and our least favorite. Bed is shorter than the past vans we have rented and not suitable for anyone ~6’ or over. If you plan to cook, you’ll need to bring your own gear. Solar and water worked well, so it checks those boxes. We couldn’t figure out the stove top but also didn’t reach out and troubleshoot with the owner. Make sure you pay attention to the pick up location- it’s an hour south of the airport.

5.0My boyfriend & I had a wonderful experience using Jayden’s van for our Mighty 5 roadtrip. Any questions we had, Jayden was always quick to respond which put our uncertainties at ease as it was our first van life trip. The size of the van was perfect for us two; the bed was comfortable and during meal times, cooking was easy. The shower was convenient while staying at more primitive National Park campsites. When we return to Utah, we would definitely rent with these owners again. You put us on to van life! Thanks so much again for an awesome trip! 😊
