2022 Keystone Hideout

Communication with the owners was wonderful but unfortunately there was a lot of things that didn’t go as planned. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut unless you lifted up but even then sometimes it still would open. The toilet overflowed on us when the pump was on while kids were brushing their teeth. We had to flush them pull the flusher to the right to get it to stop filling. The side of the trailer was gushing water when the pump was on. We helped clear the air bubble but it still kept happening. Owners were able to get someone out 2 days later to fix it but for the 1st 2 days, we could barely use the water which made it difficult. The trailer smelled like dogs bad. Had to do a deep clean before we left to try and drown out the smell. The main bed has a dip in the middle which made it uncomfortable to sleep when there’s 2 people in the bed. The tv is not a smart tv so unless you bring a gaming console, you can’t even use the tv. The furnace didn’t work well.. we tried it one night then was woken up in the middle of the night by excessive clicking so we turned the finance off and didn’t use it during our stay. Owners communication was on point and I appreciated that but the trailer needs some repairs and work for the price we paid per night.

The travel trailer was great for our group! We got delivery and pickup which made our trip even better. We had a small issue with the water and the owner was very responsible and supportive, delivering the part to replace quickly. We will rent again for our trip next season!

We had an amazing trip down to valdez.

While we enjoyed our trip and made some great memories, the rental process itself was frustrating. Communication with the host was often delayed, and neither pickup nor drop-off was handled in person — something I wasn’t told until I had already arrived at her property. With no one there to walk us through the setup or help load the trailer, we had to figure everything out ourselves, which took over an hour and started the trip off on a stressful note. The RV also had multiple issues: the stabilizers didn’t work, the toilet seat was unattached on one side, there were no basic cleaning supplies like a broom, no spare tire, the cabinet above the TV was broken, and there was no adapter for the griddle hookup. These details made setup and use less convenient than it should have been. Overall, we still enjoyed our time traveling, but better communication, in-person assistance, and attention to maintenance would make a huge difference for future renters.

Great communication and coordination with Danielle prior to our arrival, and during our trip if we had questions/concerns. Danielle delivered and set up the RV at our site which was great! Nice RV! The main bed was super comfy and the kids said the bunk beds were comfy too! :)
