Résumé de l'évaluation

Responsive, flexible, and supportive

Melissa is praised for quick communication, flexibility with scheduling, and providing assistance (e.g., with hitches). One first-timer desired more detailed instruction on trailer operations like waste water management.

Clean, comfortable, tows easily

The trailer is generally clean, comfortable, and tows nicely for a family of four. Heating and water systems are prone to freezing in cold weather without continuous generator use. A broken DVD player and initial hot water/burner issues were reported.

Full transparency we were late to pick up the trailer. We sis communicate with the host and they were responsive. However, the embedded directions took us to the wrong address. Once we got there, we were briefed on how the trailer works and they let us borrow their hitch because ours was too small. Right out of the gate I was told "the DVD player is broken" I had made a point of getting a trailer for creature comforts especially since I was traveling with children. The owners knew this was our first time camping in a trailer. We did not know what we didn't know. Once we got to our destination things started to unravel. At first the hot water and burners did not work. We were told we may have to fill up the propane (I assumed that renting meant these things came equipped). I did not want to have to run to the store when we were supposed to be camping. Then things took a turn, our toilet started to fill up and so did the shower (which we had not used since there was no hot water). That's when the hubby had to google about trailers and learned that he had to release the gray water and later the black water. These were things that I feel should have been told to us. For the price I could have had more creature comforts and less work. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I do not recommend.

Melissa was a great host and her trailer was perfect for our family of 4 (two younger kids). Quick and clear communication. She was really helpful going over the trailer (as a first timer this was particularly helpful) and pickup and drop-off were a breeze!

WINTER CAMPERS READ We had a great time taking the trailer up to White Pass for a two night snowboarding trip. Melissa provides everything you need to get the trailer up there and going. If you’re winter camping, bring an alternative indoor heat source that isn’t electric and extra EXTRA blankets and check your campgrounds rules on quiet hours. The heat only works while the generator is going which makes for very cold nights if you can’t run all night like ours. The cold nights also froze the water tank and the propane water heater was not able to keep up so also plan on no running water if you’re not able to keep the generator on 24/7. (Other trailers up there had water freezing issues.) Otherwise, this cozy camper is perfect and all you need to have an amazing time. Comfy beds, clean, and in great working condition. Melissa is super responsive for questions, concerns or just commiserating about the cold. We will try again in the summer!
