5.0“Ellie the Adventurous” was a great vehicle for our national park adventures in northern California and southern Oregon. We appreciated the many amenities including electrical outlets, overhead lights, small fridge, microwave, cooktop, sink, and bathroom, and the sleeping space in the back was comfortable. We would definitely recommend “Ellie” and Hai was an excellent communicator, both ahead of the rental period and nearing the end of it.

5.0Had a great booking experience with Hai and his wife Kim. They were both extremely communicative and were very accommodating with pick up and drop off times. They provided all the pertinent instructions, which made it easy to get comfortable with the campervan. Ellie is very maneuverable and had everything we needed for RV camp grounds. Great length, slept our entire family, 2 adults and a 2 and 3 year old child. Storage was large enough to accommodate luggage and all the nonsense things needed for two toddlers. The dual batteries were good enough to last ~2 days with regular cooking and minor climate control as the temperature during our trip was already comfortable. Driving the camper for an hour or so fully charged the batteries so we never needed hookups at the camp grounds. The retractable awning was nice when shade was needed, and the small bathroom was enough for what we needed. We didn’t bother with showers as our camp grounds had them but the outside shower was nice for cleaning the kids up before bringing them in. we kept the refrigerator running the entire time and it barely drained the batteries, everything was ice cold, including the stuff we needed frozen. The inductive stove worked well, and made cooking a breeze. The microwave was a life saver, making it so easy to warm up food and milk for the kids. Draining the black/grey water was also simple, and the RV carried enough water to last multiple days before refills, which was also really easy to do with all the included attachments and hoses. Overall, the value was tremendous, and the hosts were amazing to work with. I would highly recommend working with them as they do not bother you at all. I would definitely rent from again, our family had a great trip and our kids loved every moment of it. Thanks a lot Hai and Kim, you guys have been wonderful! Best, Nguyen family

5.0We have an amazing camping with "Ellie", very reliable and comfortable camping van to rent, it's our first time to rent, and Hai and Kim made it very smooth and easy. They are very accommodating specially for the pick up and drop off. I highly recommend their camping van "ELLIE" and off course them as Host. Cannot wait to rent to them again.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We're pretty much available from dawn till dusk.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
Our rig runs 30 amps which is typical of every campsite with hookups. If you know that only 50 amps is the only option where you are going, we have a 30 to 50 amp adapter for you. If you've done water and sewer hookups before, our rig is no different other than we have a convenient retractable sewer hose. If its your first time, let us know and we'll walk you through it!

I've never driven a RV before, what should I expect?
R.
Driving Ellie is comparable to driving a large pickup with a heavy payload, so take care not to drive too fast. Ellie is also pretty heavy, so expect a slow start. The seating position is higher than normal, and the front windshield is pretty large; meaning you'll have a spectacular view with front row seating to wherever you are going.
