Inland you will find the outstanding Everglades National Park, Big Cypress National Preserve and Lake Okeechobee, all of which offer outstanding wildlife viewing and thrilling air-boat excursions. When you need a city excursion you can visit Miami, Fort Myers, or Tampa, for great shopping and dining as well as good museums, galleries and children’s attractions. Mickey Mouse and his Camp Wilderness park is a quick 3hour drive. The Florida Keys is also a short drive, about 4.5 hours from our driveway with many gorgeous RV resorts. Our favorite is Big Pine Key Fishing Resort.
