Résumé de l'évaluation

Highly accessible and flexible host
Mike is transparent, contactable, and always available to answer questions. He has also provided credit to address issues.
Drives easily, comfortable on road
Guests praised its comfortable driving and roomy interior with a queen bed and ample storage. However, one extensive review detailed significant issues with cleanliness and poor maintenance.

5.0I loved my temporary RV home It was a breeze to drive, and with the queen bed slideout plus loads of storage space, the interior felt way more roomy than I expected. Mike was super accessible, flexible, and transparent about everything before and after my trip. I would rent again from Mike, no question.

1.0The RV was generally unclean, with greasy dirty surfaces. Cupboard internal surfaces were dirty as for example were cup holders. The cab itself was filthy, cup holders and storage areas dirty and items left in them including personal items. Fridge had not been cleaned with debris and dirt in storage draws. I suggest that the RV had not been cleaned properly for some time, perhaps last season! Washing the floor is certainly not sufficient. The toilet was not cleaned properly and urine was present. Air vents/fans are filthy so was reluctant to use fan to which would only spread dirt. Even the drivers area was filthy with hosts personal items left in pockets. We had to spend our own time on holiday cleaning the RV. A further area to highlight as an example of uncleanliness was the BBQ that has mould growing on the surface and the storage bag was just as bad. Coffee machine was dirty and wrapped in owners quilted jacket. Kitchen utensils are all past there best and not really useable. Potentially a health hazard due to deep scratches and burns. Kitchen Tea Towels are all stained and not fit for use. Even the tin opener was rusty! Overall the RV has not been maintained. The backs of cupboard doors to the kitchen cupboards are loose and in danger of glass breaking. There are areas where gaffer tape is already being used to keep things in place. I had to several times repair the hinge /arm to stop the RV main door swinging, which kept coming apart. The external sealant started to come away from the outside of the RV. Fortunately I was able to repair but with a delay to our journey. The table in the RV is broken. When we did manage to get it up, it would slowly drop down on to our knees if sitting at the table. Easier to sit outside on the campground table when the weather was fine. Finally, coming back to the bedding highlighting stains including blood on quilts and pillow. One of the comforters even had a hole in the material. The towels were beach towels and not what you would expect with an RV. We were forced to purchase bedding and towels. With the basic level of cleanliness, very poor we did not want to use any of the items in the RV unless we had no choice. Whilst we were told the vehicle had been serviced, there were two sensor messages indicating the need for an oil change and tyre pressure. Sensor failure. Host indicated these should be ignored but has been concerning based on the overall maintenance of the RV. I would suggest wipers also need to be changed. Host apologised on return and we received a small credit but would avoid him in future. I have added a few pictures to set the scene.
