5.0The van was awesome! And its owner Viren was so friendly and helpful with the entire process. Everything went seamlessly (despite our trip being cut a day short due to a closure of the Inyo Nat'l Forest). Tortuga treated us right and gave our family of 3 a nice, solid, cozy spot to sleep and hang during our camping trip. We loved it so much we want one for ourselves!

5.0We had a great time in the Tortuga. Viren did a great job with all of the communication. The typical response time for messages was under 5 minutes. The Van is a 1987 (so that’s 34 years old) and that should set your expectations. Most of the stuff seems to work but it is not a modern car by any means. That being said, I look at it as part of the experience. Although challenging at times (going uphill), I really enjoyed driving it (this is not a Prius). My son who is 5 had a great time climbing around from the bottom bunk to the top bunk. I liked the ground clearance and all the space inside. We went dispersed camping which requires more in the way of supplies and there is a ton of room for everything. We had never stayed in a camper van before and found it quite comfortable for sleeping with the three of us.

5.0My wife, kid, dog, and I had a fantastic experience bouncing around the Eastern Sierra in the Westfalia. Refurbished vintage charm, easy setup, and comfort from the elements. Now we want our own pop up camper. Viren was kind and communicative.

4.0We had a great time in Tortuga. A few things were not in working order, but we were not surprised by this given the age and type of vehicle. Overall the vehicle did great. Standout communication and assistance by Viren! Listing accuracy needs some work but this was the first rental, so no biggie. Thanks for sharing your beloved vehicle with us!
