Full kitchen, lots of headroom and storage, plenty of room to cook, two separate living spaces. Alde Central Heating and Water, Froli Sleep System support under the queen bed. LED lights, cable-ready TV, DVD and CD player with Bluetooth audio so you can play music in the camper using your phone, 2-way Fridge, bathroom sink, shower, toilet, really this T@B has everything you would want in a travel trailer. It's very small, and can sometimes fit into tent spaces, which means you can camp in more remote locations that RV's normally can't access. The camper can be picked up by you in Hygiene or Longmont. Pickup and dropoff on weekdays will typically need to be late afternoon (4pm or later) so please plan accordingly and message me to discuss options if your trip demands something different and let's talk about options.I want folks who rent my camper to have a great time, and I will instruct you fully in everything you need to know to take it out and have a great time. Expect the pickup process to take around an hour more or less for me to show you everything and for us to sign paperwork. I will also be happy to answer any questions before, during, or after a rental.Ce qui est inclusThe camper will have fully charged batteries when you pick it up, and grey and black tanks will be empty. You are required to dump them before returning the camper, but for a fee ($25) I can dump the tanks when you return if you run out of time. The propane tank will be filled, and I do not require you to refill it before returning (propane is on me). It's very unlikely that you'd need to refill the propane tank (only the water heating system and the stove use the propane) but I'll show you where it is in case you needed to. The camper also comes with plenty of RV (quick-dissolving) toilet paper, all manuals, hardware required for leveling, a tow hitch lock, a hose and filter for filling the fresh water tank, a high quality tank dump hose, and rubber gloves to wear while using it. There is a soap dispenser mounted near the kitchen sink that will be filled with good quality dish soap. There are a few plastic bins in which to place items in the kitchen area cabinets so they don't slide around. The camper comes with everything you'll need to connect it to your tow vehicle and set it up when you reach your destination. It comes with sheets that fit the cushions of the dinette sleeping area.
RecommandationsI've taken this camper so many places in many different states that it's hard to give specific recommendations. What I'd suggest though is looking for wilder places. Some of my favorite spots ever have been is dispersed camping areas in US Forest Service forests that most RVs couldn't even hope to access. You'll need be careful and do some planning, maybe drop the camper and drive in first the evaluate conditions, but that extra work has yielded some lasting memories for me and my family.Autres points à signalerNo pets inside the camper please. The camper will be supplied in a state that I call "camping clean." Durable surfaces will have been wiped down, the fridge and bathroom will have be cleaned well and I expect that you return it in a similar state. The floor will have been swept well. But this camper isn't meant for sitting in an RV park (a night here or there can be nice, you can connect cable service to the TV!), it's meant for exploring wilder places and taking a bit of comfort with you, so please don't expect it to be showroom clean and I won't expect you to return it showroom clean either. :-)A proper tow vehicle is required, hitch with 2" ball, attachment points for tow safety chains, a properly wired 7-pin electrical connection for trailer lights and electric brakes, and an electric brake controller. This trailer should not be towed with anything less than 5000 lb towing/500 lb hitch weight capacity. Even though the dry weight for the T@B 400 is considerably less than that (~2700 lbs), when the propane and water are full and the camper is loaded with supplies the weight increases considerably (~3600 lbs). Also, the hitch weight on teardrop trailers by design is pretty high, especially loaded, and in looking at tons of vehicle specs I've found that most cars under 5000 lb towing capacity are lacking in hitch weight capacity. I have towed this T@B 400 successfully with an Acura MDX for thousands of miles without the use of a sway bar. It is light and short enough that it just doesn't tend to sway. I will try to help you figure out if your vehicle can safely tow the camper, but please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for both your vehicle and for the camper. The camper has 2 6V deep cycle AGM batteries providing 224 Ah worth of 12V power to electrical features in the camper. How long that power will last you depends on many factors, including temperature and how you're using the electrical features. Even with very heavy use (kids watching movies in there) I've never gotten less than 3 days but your mileage may vary. The batteries will recharge a bit automatically while you're towing it depending on how much excess power is generated by your vehicle's alternator, but if you're doing a longer trip you should work in nights staying at campgrounds that offer electrical hookups. The cable required for hooking up at a campground is included with the camper and I'll show you how to connect it. A generator can also be used to charge the batteries but you will need to bring and carry that in your vehicle. No generator allowed in the camper. The camper has an amazing air conditioner but keep in mind this will only function when the camper is plugged into 30A power at a campground. You almost certainly do not want to turn the fridge on its coldest setting as it will probably freeze food that you don't want frozen. The freezer is small and it works, but finding the temperature control sweet spot that will keep things in it frozen without freezing your food is a bit tricky. This website has lots of specs on the T@B 400, but note the typo for the gray tank (it's 18 gallons, not 189 gallons): https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2018-nucamp-tb-travel-trailer-floorplan-400-tr37044

To us a camper is really just a local base, we love to travel and get out and explore. Colorado and the mountain West is really an embarrassment of riches when it comes to natural beauty and we try to experience as much of it as we can. We love tent camping and still tent camp sometimes, but the camper has made it possible for us to expand the seasons and geography that we can comfortably explore with young kids (it has nothing at all to do with us getting older, nope, absolutely nothing...).
