The older model van drives well, is easy to maneuver, and gets good mileage. It comes clean, organized, with a comfortable bed (fits 6'1"), and essential camping gear. One user reported battery issues.

4.0The car was clean and comfortable. The battery didn't work well we had 3 times a dead battery. And note that in kauai there are almost no place available for camper van so in the end we slept half of the time in the tent. Melvin was a great host and helpful

5.0Melvin was really laid back and helpful. The camping car was great. I had a lovely experience. Would definitely do again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ However, really not sure I would use Outdoorsy again. Warning for international travellers, they take an additional charge from you card -even if you pay in dollars and they are slow getting the deposit back to you (they blame the bank, but I've had other deposits returned more quickly, whilst still waiting for theirs. If you can go direct to the owner or use another company I'd suggest it's a better route.

5.0Loved this van! Had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable, my bf who’s 6’1 even fit which is hard in camper vans. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to experience van life on Kauai.
