We had an amazing adventure in our 30' conquest. It was the perfect way to see the amazing wealth of National parks around the four corners area. We spent two nights at most places, and it was super easy to break camp every time we moved on compared to setting up tents. Motonation responded quickly when we had questions about features on the RV and comfortably appointed us with linens and towels. We did about half our time with hookups and half without. AC works best with a hookup, but we found most sites at any elevation cooled off nicely at night even in July and we just left the windows open. A few tips: if you don't have electrical and need to start the generator in the morning, the batteries might be dead, start the truck and then you can start the generator. Also, never pass up a nice national park dump station. With care we could make it 2 days between using them. At 30' you'll need to find RV parking at trailheads, but we had no problem finding it at Arches, Capitol Reef, and Mesa Verde. The more popular parks (grand canyon, zion, Bryce) you'll need to use their bus system or bikes. Motonation is great! We'd happily rent from them again.
