2005 Jayco Jay Feather
This lightweight, easy-to-tow hybrid transforms into a much bigger trailer when you simply fold out the end bunks! This means you can have a lot of sleeping area AND a lot of living space in a trailer that's quite short when it's going down the road.
This little adventure-maker has been recently updated. The floorplan includes a queen bunk at the front, a full bunk at the back, dinette (which folds into a bed for folks about 5'5" and below) and a fold-out sofa. It has a full bathroom with sink, shower, and NEW and very clean porcelain toilet.
With the 40 gallon black water tank and fresh water tank, you can go all weekend with a family of 4 with no water or sewer hookups necessary. Being such a small trailer, the A/C keeps the interior ice cold, even in the hottest weather. Two propane tanks are included, along with an outdoor fire pit with a 30' hose that plugs into a propane receptacle right on the trailer.
The awning is new and it offers a shady area the full length of the trailer!
Interior light fixtures have been replaced with LED's so you can run the lights for a very long time on the battery alone.
Appliances include two-basin kitchen sink, microwave, 3-burner stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer that runs on electric or gas, a gas furnace, A/C, a portable fan, a small TV and Roku with NetFlix, HBO, Disney Plus, and Hulu (requires internet connection). Ce qui est inclus Your rental includes:
- A potable water hose with high-flow regulator, and a garden hose for washing out waste hoses
- A short waste hose (5') and a long waste hose (12')
- Leveling blocks and pads for jackstands
- a small tool kit with basic hand tools
- outdoor string lights
- four folding chairs
- a large outdoor rug
- outdoor propane fire pit
- propane included, you do not have to exchange tanks before returning the RV
- Two longboards (skateboards) available by request
- You can fold down the dinette and put a large dog kennel up there (available by request).
- Fresh linens, towels, a bath mat, and floor rugs
- Dishes, cups, mugs, pots, pans, utensils, servingware, a cutting board, roasting skewers, bottle openers.
- A snack kit with s'mores supplies and misc goodies will be included. RecommandationsIf you want to just get away from DFW but don't want to go far, Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Johnson Branch) is about an hour's drive to the North. It's an easy trek up I35. You pass a Buccee's :)
My favorite thing about the park is a 3-mile bike path that runs through a beautiful forest that includes everything from Junipers and Pines to large Honey Locusts and Oaks, Wild Plum trees, diverse mushrooms galore after a rain, and wild blackberry bushes right off the trail. The trail is an EXCELLENT bike ride for families because it's safe and smooth and offers gentle hills. RV spaces include electric and water and there is a dump station in the park. The park is dog-friendly. We went in prime spring weather and it was quiet and peaceful. The lake has numerous small islands that can be explored by boat, kayak, or canoe. Autres points à signalerA pet deposit will be required. Pet damage will be repaired out of the pet deposit. No smoking!!
