5.0The complete experience was exceptional. Zach communicates in full and was professional. Bounce any of your travel ideas off him. His knowledge of the island and the forest routes is deep, so definitely take his advice if he lends you a tip or two. The Toyota FJ was a dream to drive. Its got more than enough to confidently get you where you want to go and keep you there a few nights. At the end, I didnt want to return it, and wish I had one just like it. Overall, all these included elements helped us get used to navigating the island and creating a trip that exceeded our expectations while keeping us safe and relatively comfortable. I still cant believe how much fun we had, and cant wait to get back to the island. Thanks Zach!

Foire aux questions
Q.
Do you supply firewood?
R.
Yes! Firewood is available upon request for an additional fee. We also have a portable propane fire available as an add-on — a convenient, smoke-free option that works anywhere your rig can go and during fire bans.
Q.
Where can I go on Vancouver Island?
R.
You can explore all public paved roads and most forest service roads. Many of these provide access to provincial campgrounds and recreation sites. Please note: Water crossings are not permitted in this vehicle. Overgrown trails and deactivated service roads are discouraged. If you plan to visit a public site with tricky access, just check with us first — we’re happy to advise. This rig is easy to drive, even on remote roads, so you can focus on the adventure without worrying about setup.
