What requirements are there for towing?
R.
While I supply a weight-distribution hitch to renters, no adjustments are allowed. That means your vehicle must not be lifted. You must also have a brake controller on your tow vehicle. Note: It is recommended that you only tow 80% of your vehicle's tow capacity. This trailer is 6200lb unloaded - you would comfortably tow if your tow capacity is at least 7400lb. Of course, this is just a recommendation - ultimately you are responsible for towing safely.

Is there anything else I should know?

While no pets are allowed for renters, we do bring our dog camping. If you are allergic to dogs, this may not be the trailer for you.
Q.
How long a camping spot do I need?
R.
While the trailer is a 23' trailer, the overall length from spare tire to end of tongue is just shy of 30'. Add your tow vehicle length to this and then check the length of your spot. If you are over length, some places allow you to park in an "overflow" type lot, but not all. Check campground rules or contact the campground.
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
Pick up can be as early as sunrise on the day of rental and drop off can be up to an hour before sunset on your return date. There are Outdoorsy procedures and paperwork that have to be filled out before you leave and after you arrive. Plan on those taking 15-45 minutes depending on your familiarity with towing a travel trailer.
