Or, we can have your car parked and ready at the airport parking lot directly across from the baggage claim and you can take it from there; but, there may be a small fee paid at the exit gate of the airport parking lot up to $15 for this option, and it will be required prior to 8am and past 8pm.Airport Return Instructions: We usually plan to meet you at our lot 2 minutes from the airport, at 592 Haleakala Hwy, Kahului, across from Costco, and we can give you a ride right to your terminal Or, you can park your car at the airport parking lot, directly across from baggage claim if it's more convenient for a one-time $15 airport parking lot fee charged at the airport parking exit gate. Camping is anywhere from free or $3-$25 a night with showers & facilities. There are also beach parks all over the island with free showers & bathrooms at virtually every beach. Google maps is a great resource to find camping spots on the Island as well as a book I provide called Maui Revealed - this would be the ultimate guidebook with all of the resources for which you’d likely be looking.
Private camping spots include:
●Camp Keanae – Maui Ymca on the Road
●Camp Olawalu on the South West shore
●Olawalu Beach park on Hono’opi'ilani Hwy,
●Papalaua Wayside Park in Lahaina.
National campground Parks:
●Hosmer Grove on the slopes of Haleakala Volcano 7,000 ft.,
●Haleakala National Park near Hana called Kipahulu or Oheo,
●Haleakala Park Interior of Crater - Cabins and Tent Camping 9,000 ft. at Paliku as well as Holua.
State Park camping spots and parks include:
●Wainapanapa near Hana – Cabins and Tent Camping.
●Polipoli Spring Campgrounds in Kula above the Lavender Farms,
Off the Grid: At your own risk, this is rogue camping -
●Plenty Kiawe on the back side of Hana rounding Kaupo Gap
●Windmills on the back side of the West Maui’s, ●Changs Beach in Kihei
●All of Olawalu Beach in Lahaina once you’re a 1/2 mile past the tunnel on Pali (cliff road) heading towards Lahaina.
