Smoke-Free Policy: Escape Campervans maintains a strict no-smoking policy in all vehicles. Smoking inside the campervan will result in a non-refundable cleaning fee of up to $450.
Pet Policy: A non-refundable pet fee of $150 applies (maximum of two pets per rental). Service animals are allowed at no additional cost with proper documentation. Failure to notify us of a pet before pickup will result in a non-refundable $250 charge.
Seat Belt Safety: All passengers must wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion. Escape Campervans is not liable for any injuries sustained by drivers or passengers.
Road Restrictions: Driving on off-road areas, closed roads, or unpaved surfaces is strictly prohibited and voids roadside assistance coverage. Renters will be fully responsible for all damages, towing costs, and any related expenses if the vehicle is used in restricted areas.
Restricted Areas: Please note that driving the van on any off-road areas, closed roads, or unpaved surfaces violates the terms of our roadside assistance policy. In such circumstances, the renter is liable for all damages to the vehicle, tires, towing charges, and other expenses due to a breakdown, collision, or other associated with operating Escape Campervans vehicles in these areas.
Late Return: Our drop-off window is from 8:30 am - 10 am local time. Failure to return your vehicle during the drop-off window will result in a late drop-off fee equivalent to the daily rate.
Escape Campervans are not permitted in the following locations:
- Mexico, including Baja California
- Alaska and the Northern Territories of Canada
- Death Valley from May 1st to September 30th
- Any unimproved roads, trails, or tracks (excluding county and state-maintained roads)
- Any off-road areas, including but not limited to: sand dunes, salt plains, beaches, riverbeds, logging roads, forest trails, and dirt trails.
