We rented the RV for 6 nights. The owner met us, explained how to hook up and unhook the RV from our truck, and provided a ball mount. The awning was not usable due to damage from a previous renter, but the owner offered a pop-up tent as an alternative. We had our own, though having a working awning would have been helpful, especially since we experienced rain. As first-time travel trailer renters, we would have appreciated a checklist or digital guide covering basics such as the fridge, water heater, and different campsite hookups. The owners were responsive by text, but we had limited service at our campsites, which made getting help difficult when questions came up. We also had to purchase a wrench for one water hookup. The beds were quite firm with thin mattresses, so we added extra padding for comfort. Kitchen supplies were limited, with no silverware (plastic only) or cups provided. The two included rugs were very worn and slippery, so we brought our own to help with dirt and sand. Overall, we appreciated the owner's responsiveness. A little more preparation and guidance for first-time renters would make the experience more comfortable and positive.
