Overall, we were disappointed with our rental experience. Before leaving, we were informed of several existing issues with the RV, but we encountered additional maintenance and functionality problems throughout our trip. The Murphy bed did not function properly the first time we lowered it, and based on the walkthrough, we believed it was another pre-existing issue. We also experienced faucet issues. More concerning, the main entry lock did not function at all. It would not lock, making it impossible to secure the RV and leaving us concerned about the safety of our family and our belongings. The RV also contained a significant amount of the owner’s personal items, leaving limited storage space for our own belongings. After returning the RV, we were surprised to receive a substantial damage claim for the Murphy bed. We are disputing the claim through Outdoorsy because we do not believe the evidence establishes that the damage occurred during our rental or justifies the repair costs being sought. Based on the overall condition of the RV and the handling of the claim, we cannot recommend this rental.

The travel trailer was wonderful and the owners were super helpful.

The RV had a nice layout, came with plenty of accoutrements from the host, had a comfortable bed, an functional AC. Unfortunately, it also had several mechanical and electrical issues, namely a 12V battery that would not hold a charge, a potable water pump that was almost nonfunctional, and a water heater that would not work on propane. Having to work around these issues while boondocking really added stress and put a damper on the trip. Hopefully they get everything working again, but keep those points in mind if you intend to camp without full hookups.
