2.0The group we rented from were very friendly and responsive, this includes Noble (via Outdoorsy messaging) and Myron, who we interacted with from a pre-visit in February and throughout our trip between 22-29 May. However, we originally booked a camper, Class B - Winnebago Solis that seat 6 guest and sleeps up to 5, from 21-28 May 2026. On 24 April we confirm a change in schedule to 22-29 May 2026, which was agreed to (see confirmation dated same date from Outdoorsy, Booking: #11748049 ). On 22 May 2026 at 10h30 when we arrived to collect the camper, we were told the original vehicle was not available, but were being provided a “newer model at no additional charge to us”. While as fore noted we had requested a van for 6 people, we were presented with a van that only sat 4 – which in the end worked out as 2 from our planned group did not show up, but the host did not know of our groups reduction, and in addition had only equipped the camper with amenities for two people, i.e., linens, etc. The issues of amenities were quickly and graciously rectified by the host to meet the needs of the 4 travelers. Three issues were raised prior to taking possession of the van, these were the: • reservation was for a 6-seater and we were presented with a 4-seater; • front mosquito screen of the pop-up was torn, thus making it hot to sleep on top; and • front windshield was cracked from the lower center towards the passenger side and upward, we were assured this would not pose a problem with the police, yet by the end of the trip, the crack started to spider spread to the left side by about 6in. Three days into our trip in Moab, Utah, the camper would not start, and the dashboard indicated “service engine” (we checked all vehicle fluids, which were all indicating normal levels). We also pressed the battery boost button on the dash to no avail. As we were in an area without network we sought assistance from the Visitors Center. We were finally able to get the camper started with the assistance of a portable battery jump starter. For the next four days though we discovered the battery was dead, the booster did not work, and had to begin a search, first within our immediate campground and subsequently walking to the visitor’s center, which was in one case over 1 mile away. Luckily for us we found rangers or campers gracious enough to lend us their portable battery jump starter to get us back on the road. Nevertheless, whenever we were out of city/town limits, we could not take the risk of shutting the engine for fear of not being able to restart the engine or find someone to assist. Once we were in an area with network we called our host and informed him of our situation and confirmed that even the van’s own battery boost button did not work. Other minor issues with the camper included the: • shower/toilet door frame was separated from the wall and made closing the door troublesome; • outdoor shower nozzle was broken; and • mosquito screen at the sliding door was attached with safety pins. In closing, while the camper was comfortable for the 4 that showed up and the host was responsive, all the aforementioned issues, and most importantly the battery problem, which impeded our trip and added unnecessary stress and a waste of our time, were discussed upon our return with the host, but 5 days later and a reminder text to the host we’ve not heard anything from the owner. We might have rated this 2.5-3 stars, but given all the issues and no response from the owner, we rest on 2. Unfortunate.

5.0The van was very well equipped, and comfortable and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need. The host was fantastic. Responding so quickly to any and all questions. Lovely to work with. I would highly recommend Maron and this wonderful van experience!
