Thanks for taking a look at The Pony, it's a great camper with a really usable floorplan.
To start, it's under 3000#'s which means you can tow it with a lot of vehicles. It's nicely setup for "boondocking" (camping without hookups) or regular campsite hookups with twin batteries and twin propane tanks. An awning is great to get out of the sun or rain and makes evenings so much better. Once inside you'll find a queen size bed in the front, a small dinette that makes into a bed and twin bunkbeds in the back. It's got a nice size bathroom with shower (with hot water heater of course) and a kitchen with microwave and stovetop with three burners. The AC and furnace give you the ability to be comfortable in any climate. It has a stereo with speakers inside and out as well as a TV and DVD player for those late night movies. One other plus is a bike rack on the front for two bikes, love being able to see that they are happy (and still there!) as you go down the road.The camper comes with pretty much everything you need to go camping. All the hookup hoses and lines are included as well as a full kitchen setup that includes dishes, pots & pans and a coffee maker. You'll need to bring food and linens (and maybe a change of clothes). We rent out four campers and understand what people need to be comfortable and have a great trip.If you're new to camping we'll give you a thorough walk-thru and make sure you understand all the different components involved. We'll also send a guidebook that will help you remember anything you might forget (as well as my cell # for tech support). This camper has a minimum rental of 4 nights in the Summer months, we've done this to help renters looking for a camper to take on longer vacations as many campers get booked for weekend rentals making it hard to find one for a nice long trip. Starting in September it has a 2-night minimum. Our other two campers only have a 2-night minimum.Our goal is for you to have a great camping experience and we'll do everything we can to make that happen. We started out tent camping, bought our 1st Pop-up at a Garage Sale and rebuilt it, moved on to a bigger Pop-up and then a Trailmanor. When we sold a house and had no place to store a camper we sold the camper and then went back to tent camping - while hiking tall mountains (Pike's Peak & Mt. Whitney were amazing!). Then while doing a few days on the Appalachian Trail a horrific thunderstorm seemed to take away some of the zest for tent camping for my wife and we came back to campers! Love helping people take their first camping trip and experiencing the outdoors.
