The combination of the pandemic and having a toddler made international travel a bit more tedious and complicated over the last few years. However, it was a blessing in disguise because this time allowed us to rediscover all the wonders of California we took for granted in the past. After surviving the Texas experiment for 3 years, we truly can say there is nothing like the Golden State. There are countless natural wonders to discover right in our own backyard and Tuktuk makes it just a bit more of a family friendly adventure.

We’ve rented several different vans. Mike was exceptionally organized and communicative in explaining all of the nuances. There were very good directions which made everything a lot easier.

Excellent trip for first time campers, RV was nice and Mike is a wonderful host. We went to Lassen and enjoyed the time there. It was raining and having an RV was very convenient - the solar power, and propane based heating are a nice combination.

2) WINNEBEGO has an app you can download which has instructions and SHORT videos as well.
3) I provide a walk through, as upon pick up, well as a laminated instruction guide on the features of the SOLIS and how to use them.
Q.Are there any extra fees?
R.
1) I do not charge any extra fees for thoroughly sanitizing & cleaning the RV. Since the RV is being utilized for a road trip/camping dirt is expected and okay, but FILTH will not be tolerated.
2) Minimal $25 fee for pets because of the extra time required to thoroughly remove all pet hair.
3) 125 miles allotted per day. 50 cents per mile for mileage overage.
4) Additional fees for returning the vehicle without a FULL gas tank.
5) SIGNIFICANT fee for NOT FULLY EMPTYING the TOILET CASSETTE.
