2016 Starcraft Comet
Light on weight and easily towable at just 1640 lbs dry, this Starcraft Comet 1019 is a great choice for families or couples looking to hit the open road. Only 10 feet long when folded down, it stretches out to sleep up to 7 and even seats up to 7! Trailer can be towed by most vehicles with 2 inch tow hitch and 7-way trailer plug.As you step inside you will see a three-seat dinette on the right and a queen size tent end bed. There is a storage cabinet just inside the door on the left before the second booth dinette. Both dinettes quickly convert into more sleeping space with the tables folded down.In between the dinettes you will find a kitchen sink and two burner range with 3-way refrigerator below. The stove can easily be carried outside for use also under the large awning. Outdoor shower located on the side with hot water available from the gas hot water heater. 16,000 BTU furnace for those chilly nights. Large 28-gallon freshwater tank on board. This trailer also has upgraded, high-quality tent fabric that is completely waterproof.The rear of the unit features a second tent end bed that is full size. (2) Thermostatically controlled bed mat heaters, and a stereo with interior and exterior speakers. Absolutely no smoking: I have a zero tolerance policy for smoking. If smoke smell is detected at drop-off a $200 penalty will be assessed plus the cost to have the smell professionally remediated
Tank cleaning: Black and grey tanks must be dumped and cleaned prior to drop-off. A $100 fee will be charged for dirty tanks when dropped off.
No pets: If it is detected that pets were in the trailer, a $200 penalty will be charged plus the cost of having the trailer professionally cleaned.
Speeds on non-paved roads shall be limited to 15mph
Excessive cleaning fee: a $200 excessive cleaning fee will be charged if trailer requires cleaning that is above and beyond what would be considered normal. This would include caked on pots and pans, mud and stains on the floor, counters, or sheets. If trailer has excessive mud on the exterior, renter shall rinse it off prior to drop-off.
Standard pick-up time is between 3p-5p. Standard drop-off is between 10a-1p.
Early pick-up fee of $25 (if available and agreed to ahead of time by owner) or late drop-off fee $40 (if available and agreed to ahead of time by owner).
