The renter is responsible for bringing the unit back in the same condition as received, this means clean inside and out (no bugs on the front) and with the waste tanks empty and the fuel and propane tanks full. If not returned clean, empty or full as the case may be, additional fees will apply. For example, the cleaning fee for us to do it for you would be $150 and up, $65 to dump the waste tanks, and other fees apply to fill the propane or fuel tanks. This amount may come from the security deposit or the card on file. We are more than happy to perform any of these services for you, but they are not included in the base rental. One final rule is our standard pick-up and drop-off times are between 8 AM and 6 PM Monday through Saturday. While pickup and drop-off are available outside of these hours, we do charge a fee ($99) to open up special outside of these standard hours. Please plan and give us an advance notice regarding your pick-up and drop-off if you need accommodations for special circumstances, and we will happily accommodate you. Due to the nature of outside awnings and the frequency of damages, we ask that the awnings not be used during the rental a popup awning is included with the RV for you to use in place of the attached awnings. Please stay off the RV roof as it is not designed for anything but limited service access. My units are not allowed at Burning Man, a $4,000 penalty would be assessed for a violation of this prohibition. Final rule...remember Have fun! You are on vacation, slow down, take a breath and relax, don't be in a hurry. When you follow this rule everything goes so much better!

Does this trailer come with a generator?

R.

This trailer does not come with an onboard generator. Generators must be reserved separately and are portable type units, specifically the Honda EU2200i Companion, these are ultra-quiet and ultra fuel-efficient. A single unit will power all the systems of the trailer but not the A/C units, two of these units can be "paired" together to then run a single A/C unit in the trailer. In other words, if you want to run the A/C reserve two units, if you do not want to run the A/C, reserve only one unit.

Does this trailer come with a receiver hitch?

An equalizer/anti-sway type reciever hitch is required to rent this trailer. If you have one of your own you are more than welcome to use it, if you do not have one, you can select the option to rent ours during the checkout process.

What type of vehicle is required to tow this trailer?

R.

This is a heavy trailer requiring a vehicle with a tow rating of over 10,000lbs. This means the trailer itself weighs approx 8600 lbs. before you add any water or other gear to it. Overall its gross, or maximum loaded weight can be up to, but should not exceed 10,200 lbs. A vehicle that is considered a 3/4 ton or "2500" would be the minimum, with a 1 ton or "3500" rated vehicle as preferred. As a note, electric trailer brakes are also required for the tow vehicle to safely tow this trailer.

Are trailer brakes required to rent this trailer.

R.

The simple answer is absolutely yes! Most dual axle travel trailers have electrically actuated brakes on at least one of their axles to aid in stopping the load when braking. This trailer is equipped with that braking system and requires the tow vehicle to have an onboard "controller" to engage the trailer's brakes. Many newer, larger trucks and SUVs have this system factory-installed, if not an aftermarket controller and wiring can be professionally installed in your tow vehicle fairly easily.
