2018 Riverside RV Retro
This 2018 Riverside Retro Travel Trailer 166 is the perfect camper for solo travelers, couples, or small families. Everything you need, in a stylish package. At just 2500 lbs dry weight and 16'4" length, the Retro makes towing a breeze -- especially for smaller vehicles or less experiences drivers.Rest easy as you sleep in the surprisingly-comfortable queen bed or relax at the dinette -- it can seat four people or fold down into a second bed itself.Let the propane heater, fan, or AC keep you at a comfortable temperature no matter what is going on outside. You'll have plenty of cooking options with a 2-burner stove, microwave, sink, and small fridge/freezer.The camper includes a wet bath with toilet and shower, plus another shower outside to help keep any mess outdoors. The sound system has both interior and exterior speakers, so you can listen to your favorite tunes whether you're drifting off to sleep inside the camper or sitting outside around a fire.Between a carbon monoxide and propane detector, smoke alarm, and fire extinguisher, you can be confident your family is safe.If you're going somewhere with hookups, you can use the provided equipment to connect to a clean water line, sewer line, and electric outlet to take full advantage of all the comforts this camper has to offer. Even if you're headed somewhere a bit more rustic though, the camper camper's water tank, battery, optional generator, and more will convince you to never stay in a tent again.Ce qui est inclusWe're happy to include our normal camping gear. Or if you'd prefer, we can clear everything out and have it empty for you! Here are the typical contents:

A few gamesDepending on how heavy use is, you could run out of things like propane, RV toilet paper, or disposable plates/cups/cutlery.Generator/inverter is an optional add-on. If you plan on renting it and relying on it, I would recommend you bring additional gas.RecommandationsEnjoy New Hampshire's beautiful White Mountains, or stay close to home at one of the nearby state parks.Autres points à signalerNo smoking in the vehicle.I recently purchased a StarLink Roam satellite internet receiver for camping trips, so I'm making that available as an optional add-on. This includes both use of the physical equipment and use of the subscription. It's low-latency high-speed internet, essentially stationary location where you have a clear view of the sky. Thanks Elon Musk!If you're going to a more primitive campsite without hookups, for a small charge you can add on our optional generator. It is a 2021 Craftsman 3300-Watt Gasoline Portable Inverter Generator. Benefits over most other generators include:
-"Ultra Quiet Design" that keeps things around 60 decibels
-Easier to carry due to built-in handle and relatively light weight of 60lbs
-Simple start and operation: just turn the dial to choke, pull the starter cord, and turn the dial to run
-Automatic RPM control means you don't have to manually adjust output levels to minimize fuel waste and noise, or to maximize power output, as your electricity draw changesI am happy to handle grey water (from the sink and shower), but please try to dump your own black water (toilet waste). Most campgrounds have this available -- just use the provided hose to hook up to the sewer at your camp. Otherwise, Concord has a wastewater treatment facility at 125 Hall Street. If you are in a hurry or unable to dump yourself, there is a charge upon return. Please note generator/satellite internet are optional add-ons, and I am unable to provide guarantees or technical support for them. You shouldn't run into any issues, but I'm not an expert in small engines or IT, so unfortunately, I probably can't identify any problems/solutions remotely that you can't identify on-site. Any damage to add-ons may be deducted from camper security deposit or pursued via alternative means. Please be aware that some features of the camper (AC, microwave, outlets) are reliant on electric hookups. The propane tank and battery will be delivered with propane and charge, but I can't guarantee they will be 100% full. If they are important to your trip, I would strongly recommend that you confirm you'll have any easy way to replenish them if necessary at your destination, or otherwise take spares.

McKayne met us as planned and was very helpful – he explained how to hook up the trailer and assisted with different tasks as we got on our way. The camper was clean, cute, and looked exactly as described on Outdoorsy.

Q.Any other limitations on the optional generator?
R.
The tank holds one gallon of gas. I will fill the tank if you remind me, but I don’t provide unlimited gas. Depending on conditions and your use, the gallon may be sufficient for your entire trip or you might go through many gallons a day.
The generator provides 3300 starting watts and 2500 running watts. You should be able to power just about anything you want, but maybe not all at the same time.
Q.How does the dinette, which converts into a second bed, work?
R.
The dinette folds down into a second bed that measures 36"x75", which is considered a "narrow bunk". It is just three inches more narrow than a twin, so twin-sized linens should work fine. Please note that while we provide linens for the main bed, we do not for this.
The table is simply lowered, and the four bench cushions are rearranged to cover the table and benches. Whether you use this bed or not, it is important to lower the table when driving so that it doesn't bounce and break the leg.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
You should be able to pick up or drop off the camper whenever is most convenient to you, I just ask that you give me notice. If possible I will be there, but otherwise my wife Amber can get you set up and answer any questions.
Q.How do I tow the camper?
R.
The camper has a 7-pin connector for wiring, which is the most common style. I have a 4-pin converter you're welcome to borrow if your vehicle only has 4 pins.
The camper goes on a standard 2" ball hitch. I have a ball mount (with ball, pin, and clip) that you can borrow, you just need a standard 2" receiver on your vehicle.
The camper is lighter and shorter than most campers, so it tows pretty easily. I mostly don't even notice it is back there.
