The Love Story combines a sleek and stylish exterior and cab with all you’d expect from a newer car, with rustic interior comfort and cozy-factor of a log cabin. Reclaimed wood walls and eco-conscious insulation make the van a work of art, as well as pretty quiet place to sleep even on a busy road or at a loud festival. She drives really smooth, has a great stereo and fits in a regular parking spot. She’s off-grid capable with solar powering the spacious, energy efficient fridge, lights, sink and cooktop. I love to cook so that was important for me, and with my killer assortment of 12 spices you can make delicious food anytime without the hassle of setting up a camp-stove.
The full-size bed is super comfy and has handled people 6’3” no problem. So- I’ve been burning )’( since 2009, rough-it/tent style without a van, shade, or even a camp- yes… it can be done! I celebrated my 10th burn with LoveStory in 2024. It was amazing. I love road trips, music festivals, and Burner Events.. my family lives in the PNW, so I’ve driven from SD to Washington many times.
I bought the already converted LoveBug in ‘22 and have been renting it/sharing the 🩵 since day 1. I am always fixing it up & making little upgrades and improvements.
