2The major issues I have are that I was not delivered the trailer I reserved, it was smaller. The condition of the trailer was very poor and the host was not honest. Gina negotiated deals outside of the Outdoorsy system, in violation of their terms and agreements, as a host. This was confirmed by an Outdoorsy representative, prior to the dates of my use. I believe she used the booking and quote system, to align herself up to initiate the outside deals, for additional profit. This was my first experience using Outdoorsy. I had recently owned a trailer, very much like the trailer I was trying to rent. I had sold my trailer but still had a reservation for Country Concert Campout at Prado Regional Park. I discovered Outdoorsy online and decided to rent a trailer for this one last reservation, so I could still complete the process of selling my trailer. Outdoorsy seemed very much like Airbnb, which I have used many times. I started my search and saw Gina and Adrian's listing for a 2021 Forest River - Salem Cruise Lite Floorplan: 263BHXL. I researched that model and found it was a 31+ foot trailer, with a floorpan that I liked. I also noticed in their ad that Adrian was a Marine and that they offered a discount to former military and first responders (which were eventually discovered was a lie). Myself and two of the other guests that would be using the trailer are/were in law enforcement. I submitted a message to the hosts, outlining the reason I wanted to rent their trailer and that we were a mature and responsible group, that would be respectful of their property. I also mentioned we were first responders. The following day, I received a message from Gina on the Outdoorsy app, stating they would love to host us and wanted to know if I wanted a quote. I replied that I did, and stated that the only additional item to include in the quote was a generator because we did not have hookups at the event we were attending. I also opted to have the trailer delivered to our event and set up. After several days and email attempts, I still hadn't gotten a reply or quote. I contacted Outdoorsy, thinking there was an error with my messages going through. The Outdoorsy representative confirmed my message had gone through and said she would contact the host. A short time later I received a message from Gina. She put together a quote, which listed the generator with the additional price being $0. At the time, I believed that the no cost option was her way of providing a first responder discount. I accepted the quote and made my first payment. A short time later my final payment was made and I was locked in, which is when things started to go bad. As the date for our event was arriving, I had not received an RV spot # from the event staff. I wasn't sure how I would meet up with Gina or Adrian at the event, so I messaged them through the Outdoorsy app, with my phone number, so we could communicate how to meet up. A short time later I received a phone call from Gina. The first thing she mentioned was she noticed she had "forgotten" to charge me for the generator rental. This seemed odd, because the generator was listed in the quote, just with no charge. She then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted to pay her cash on the delivery date, I could avoid taxes and fees from Outdoorsy. She also mentioned that now that I have her phone number I could make future bookings directly with her and avoid the Outdoorsy costs. This all made it apparent to me that this manoeuvre with the generator rental was intentional, so she could avoid a portion of that cost being split with Outdoorsy. I agreed, knowing that my entire rental fee had already been charged and I could not cancel. Agreeing to the no cancellation clause with Gina was my biggest mistake. At the time, I had no doubt that the event we were going to would go without a hitch, but I soon learned different. Just a few days before the event, I received an email from the concert organizer's that the concert was being "postpone due to weather". This was a major shock, as the weather forecast didn't seem that bad and eventually we never had rain. I text Gina to share the bad news and to see what my options were for my trailer rental. I wanted to know if I could postpone our rental to the new concert date. Gina responded that she was aware of the concert being canceled but stated "Since the booking is through the website we must abide by their rules". She was immediately blaming the Outdoorsy website for the reason I couldn't reschedule. I would later learn from the Outdoorsy representative that was not true. Outdoorsy explained there is an option on the website reservation to request a date change. Since I already knew Gina's position, so that was not going to be an option. My point to this is, just be a big girl and say you won't consoder a date change, don't blame Outdoorsy. Gina had offered to deliver the trailer to a different location for our reserved dates. I spoke with my friends and we agreed to change the location and at least use the trailer we were locked into paying for and using on those dates. We opted to camp at Bonelli Park, which is 16 miles away from our original location. Gina said they would make the delivery change, as they often delivery to Bonelli Bluffs, but it would cost an additional $60. I was hoping maybe she would grace us with a little love, considering our situation, or since she hadn't honoured her military/ first responder discount. Nope, she had me locked in, so she took advantage of it. I had no choice but to agree to the cost. She immediately went back to her "if you pay cash when we deliver it will save you fees and taxes that Outdoorsy charges" narrative. Once again, I agreed to pay cash to stay in good graces with her. On the day of delivery I arrived at the campground and waited for Gina/Adrain to arrive. This is where things really went sideways. While sitting in my truck, I received a phone call from Gina. She was letting me know they were on their way and would be there shortly. It was at this point she told me there was a problem with the trailer we had booked. She explained that while they were getting it ready to deliver, they noticed that the slide out wasn't working. She assured me that it wouldn't be a problem for me, because they were going to deliver a larger trailer for us to use. I really couldn't be too upset you that right? Well, they actually delivered a smaller trailer. Gina must of thought I was an idiot and wouldn't notice. The original trailer is a 31+ and the one they delivered was a 29'. Gina flat out lied to me. We were sitting there with all of our gear and just had to make the best of it. As Gina walked away I started a video, with her in the frame, and continued the video to inspect the trailer. I wanted her in the video so she couldn't come back later and claim we did any damage I might find, after she left. At this point, she had been super friendly and nice, but gave me no reason to trust her. Needles to say this trailer was pretty nasty. It seems like it was a salvaged trailer, or something a homeless person may have lived in, and they tried to put lipstick on it to make it a suitable rental. Neither of the trailer doors close properly, as there is some sort of alignment issue. The interior had an extension table hanging off of one hinge (not usable). The armrest to the sofa was completely separated at the top. Several of the window shaded wouldn't stay open. The countertop has some sort of decal applied to it, to make it look more modern. That decal was poorly applied with wrinkles along the edges. The tabletop looks like that cut a piece of plywood they tried to stain. The mattresses in the bunkbeds and completely worn and flat. The ladies that used those beds said there was no cushion left at all and it felt like they were sleeping on wooden boards. The BBQ on the exterior of the trailer was completely rusted. When I tried to wipe it off, loose pieces of rust and rust power came off. This is completely unsafe to cook on. Under the refrigerater there was a metal bracket, common on trailers, which was completely rusted. The top edge of the refrigerator was broken and interfered with the door closing. After unpacking, my friends mentioned that Gina hadn't asked for the additional $60 delivery fee. I thought maybe because she knew she had lied about the trailer being bigger, and the condition was poor, she just opted to not push the issue. I was wrong, because a short time later she text me to ask me how I intended to pay it. She literally has no shame. I told her I would leave cash, which I shouldn't have, but still did because I still held up my side of the agreement. I held off on posting my review until my security deposit was released. I firmly believe that had I not done so, Gina is the type of person that would have mad a false claim of damage, in retaliation. Luckily I have my lengthy inspection video, but didn't want to deal with that.

5Gina and Adrian made the pick up and drop off so easy. They met us right on time for both and showed us everything we needed to know about the trailer before our departure. They were very responsive when we had questions and provided us with a very nice and very clean trailer. I will rent from them again!
