Note: This is a Happier Camper not an Airsteam. This modern but retro-style camper is perfect for the weekend get-away (or the mid-week escape)! Easy to tow, easy to use, and definitely a looker. You can dry camp, since it is a lifted package (a little bit higher for off-road) and has solar power. Or, you can enjoy the creature comforts of a campground with hook-up. Would make for awesome photo shoots, as the back hatch opens all the way. If you are nearby and want to use it for a photo shoot or a guest room in your driveway, I might be willing to deliver it. We can chat about that. Please note that it is a modular configuration, so for example, you can have one Queen bed OR two twin beds, but not both. You can insert a table, but that will take up room. The "road shower" on the outside is great for hosing down your feet or for showering after surfing, beach, or to just get clean. There is not privacy screen so it's more like a hose-down.I would suggest you check out the virtual tour of the Happier Camper 1 (HC1) on the Happier Camper website, so that you are well-informed. This is an amazing camper, but it may not be what typically comes to mind when you picture a camper. It is best for solo, couples, or one parent and one kid. You could fit two parents and a kid, but it will be tight!You Must have a two-inch ball hitch on your vehicle, a converter to hook-up the lights and brake controller, and Bluetooth to route the brake controller through.Perfect for novices. Great for a couples vaca or a parent & kid bonding trip. I. take it out solo all the time, so it's terrific for a little self time too!There is a dry-flush toilet (think diaper genie or airplane toilet), sink with water tank, fan, A/C and heat (via propane tank), and the back hatch opens ALL the up, for star-gazing or sleeping in the heat. No bookings before 10/1/22, so sorry! I love taking my Happier Camper out for weekenders or even one-nighters. It's super easy to hitch and tow! A great grab and go! I have done plenty of backpacking and camping, but it's great to actually sleep on a mattress too!

Very! I love my camper, so I love talking to others about it. I am happy to answer all your questions, give you recommendations, and orient you.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
You can either hook up to what we call "shore" power and electricity. This can be done at an RV site like a KOA or driveway camping at a friends, depending on whether they have outside hook-ups (most do, think garden hose and outside electricity).
OR, you can go without hooking up. One of the great things about this camper is that is has solar panels, which generate enough energy to run lights and the pump for the sink. So if you want to go off-grid, you totally can.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

This trailer is very easy to tow. I had never towed anything before I got it. If you have ever towed a boat, this will be similarly easy.
I am happy to give you a little tutorial. Don't be intimidated. This is a great "starter" trailer.

Please know that it is truly as small as it looks. It is only 12 feet end to end. You absolutely may NOT cook inside the trailer, so this might not be the one for you for the rainy season. There is a dry-flush toilet (think diaper-genie) but no privacy screen around it.
This is an intimate experience. Best for couples or solos, or a parent and kiddo.
