You do NOT need a special license to operate and drive our RV. However, knowing and understanding that the RV is a larger vehicle and we ask our guests to be aware of that fact. In your planning be sure to keep to RV parks and campgrounds that are NOT on long-distance dirt roads or rough roads. Our RV is not suited for that type of travel due to the clearances and the length of the vehicle.

5.0This marks our inaugural trip together to Yellowstone National Park. It was also my first experience driving a Class C RV through the mountains. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. The children were particularly delighted to be outdoors, observing bison, bears, elk, and wolves. The RV facilitated our mother joining us, allowing three generations to witness the most stunning and breathtaking landscapes. We completely set aside our bills, responsibilities, and duties back in the city. Karl was exceptional and patient in instructing us on how to operate his RV throughout the journey. We highly recommend renting an RV to fully embrace the adventure and fulfill the American dream.

5.0We had such an amazing experience in the wandering buffalo. A fantastic camper owned by fantastic people! The RV had everything we could need, all we had to bring was our clothes. Karl was super informative, helpful and even dropped us back to the airport after we returned the RV. Thank you guys for the trip of a lifetime!

5.0We just completed a 5 night hire of the Wandering Buffalo and had the most amazing trip. The RV was easy to drive around Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Parks and had everything we needed, even heating during the cool September nights. The YouTube instructional videos were really helpful leading up to the trip and Karl was helpful and patient answering all of our questions on pick up. I would recommend hiring the Wandering Buffalo from Karl, you will have a great trip.
