Responsive staff, ownership neglectful
Staff are generally responsive, helpful, and professional during pickup. However, owner communication is poor for major defects, such as a non-working rear door, leading to unresolved issues and accusations of false advertising.
Easy driving, amenity-rich, with issues
Guests praise its easy driving, smooth ride, and generous 200 miles/day. It's equipped with camping gear and USB charging. However, some vehicles show significant wear, including non-functional rear doors, leaks, broken latches, and unreliable heating systems.

5.0We decided to mix up our usual fall CO trip and fly in instead and rent a van. It was a great choice! The 200 miles a day included was a huge selling point knowing that we wanted to cover some ground in our 5 days. The van was comfortable to sleep and spend time in, and the window coverings made it totally black out at night for great sleep. We are 5’8” and 6’ and were comfortable sleeping. It drives easily. The folks at Discover were super friendly and helpful. We’re already planning next years trip to include the kids!

5.0We had a wonderful experience with Discover Campervans. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful from booking until departure. The fact that Discover allows 200 miles per day was a huge bonus, as almost all of the other vans we looked at only offered 100. As a tall person at 6'4", my only concern leading up to the trip was that I wouldn't be comfortable either standing or sleeping in the van, and luckily this was not the case at all. There was enough room for me to stand up and the bed was so comfortable that sleeping was not an issue. When sleeping diagnoally I had plenty of space to stretch my legs too. We spent the last two nights of our Colorado trip in Denver and both agreed that the van's bed was more comfortable than the king sized hotel bed. Overall it was a great experience and we're so glad we did it. The convenience of being able to pick up and go whenever you feel like it, or pull over and take a quick nap before hitting the road again was wonderful. We are already talking about our next trip back to Colorado and we will certainly be booking with Discover Campervans again!
