With our fully insulated vans, extra warm comforter, and built in Webasto Heater, your winter camping will be super comfortable! We've slept at 20 degrees and didn't even need to run the heater. If you want to be a bit warmer, we recommend bringing a sleeping bag and warm clothes (base layers, fleece, beanie, gloves, etc).Here's what's included in your rental:

- Our pick up and drop off location is very close to the airport. For those flying in, an Uber/Lyft is about $25.
- Our standard pick up time is 3pm and drop off time is 11am.
- We allow 200 free miles per day with your reservation, anything over this is 35 cents per mile.
- 3 night minimum reservation
- We are pet friendly, and we do not have an upfront pet fee. We do have a $100 pet cleaning fee if the van is returned and we can tell that a dog has been present (i.e pet hair/smell). This gives you the opportunity to clean the van before your return (vacuum the pet hair at any gas station vacuum station and/or spray cleaner to remove any smells) and we will not charge the pet fee.
- No smoking (subject to $500 cleaning fee)
- No climbing on the roof
- All tolls and tickets are the renter's responsibility

Was a great trip , the van got us around Arizona

The pictures in the listing are not of the actual van. I was expecting something a little nicer. The van we received was in rough shape and beat up. A turn signal light was broken and the washer fluid was empty when when we picked it up. One of the folding chairs was broken. Drawers didn’t shut properly. We didn’t bother using the dishes as we weren’t sure the last time they were cleaned. Overall, the van got us to where we wanted to go and the bedding and heater kept us warm at night. The 200 miles a day gave us plenty of miles to explore.

Discover Campervans were easy and responsive to communicate with, and accommodating with our odd-hours travel plans.
The camper van was an easy driver, pretty fuel efficient and battery power in the van was sufficient for multiple days of camping out without a recharge.
The van’s heater came in handy while camping out in the very cold mountain nights.
Winter van camping required some hardiness but was a big step above car camping! We were able to explore remote places in southern AZ and have a little kitchen and warm space to spend the night.
We made good use of the provided table and camp chairs, and could lay in bed with the rear doors open to the warm sun.
