Responsive, helpful, and flexible
Hosts Chris and Amanda provide quick responses, clear instructions, and helpful explanations. They are accommodating with delivery and flexible with pick-up and drop-off times.
Tows easily, very maneuverable
The Basecamp 16X tows like a dream, easy to pull and maneuver with small SUVs. It offers cold AC, a well-stocked kitchen with solar fridge, and a unique back door. However, there were reports of a shower leak, hot water issue, and a recurring hose compartment problem.

3.0The host was quick to respond to all questions and concerns. The valve was not turned on for the hot water and once it was corrected there was a leak from the shower. Not wanting to allow the leak to make a further problem, we were not able to utilize the shower. It would be highly recommended to future renters to take a mattress/topper to make the bed somewhat comfortable. The owner reiterated the need to confirm closure for one of the hoses upon pick-up which we did, but on travels home the hose compartment still opened and we lost the hose on the interstate. Not wanting to lose the deposit, we stopped and bought a brand new hose. Evidently it has been a problem previously and should be corrected to leave no potential for it happening frequently.
