Always responsive and accommodating
Hosts provided quick responses, great instructions, and helpful explanations of features. They were accommodating with delivery and flexible with pick-up/drop-off times, assisting with hookup.
Tows and parks with ease
The Basecamp 16X is easy to pull and maneuver, suitable for small SUVs. It offers strong AC, a well-stocked kitchen, and good boondocking capabilities with solar power. However, one guest reported a shower leak, an uncomfortable bed, and a recurring hose compartment issue.

3.0The host was quick to respond to all questions and concerns. The valve was not turned on for the hot water and once it was corrected there was a leak from the shower. Not wanting to allow the leak to make a further problem, we were not able to utilize the shower. It would be highly recommended to future renters to take a mattress/topper to make the bed somewhat comfortable. The owner reiterated the need to confirm closure for one of the hoses upon pick-up which we did, but on travels home the hose compartment still opened and we lost the hose on the interstate. Not wanting to lose the deposit, we stopped and bought a brand new hose. Evidently it has been a problem previously and should be corrected to leave no potential for it happening frequently.
