To include canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, bird watching, biking, mushrooms, wildlife, beaches, volleyball and hanging around the campfire! It a simple getaway for the week, a long weekend or a date night escape from the city. When you are at Jordan lake, it feels like you've escaped to the mountains. yet its close to the Triangle. There are many campgrounds to choose from with easy parking and electric hookups. We are a family of 8 (6 kids) that love to enjoy all aspects of life. We love the outdoors, sports, travel, and seeing the beautiful country we live in. We are prior military (Air Force) and have lived all over the county. We now claim NORTH CAROLINA as home and have been here for nearly 10 years. We live close to Jordan Lake, and have come to just love how much the lake has to offer and want to spread that joy to others, rather than have our RV sit at a storage unit!
