Hello, I'm Lisanne T. Decker (the LTD) in RV Life LTD. I have been part of RVing since my parents bought a small travel trailer when I was young. We took it on many vacations with family and friends. In my adulthood, my husband and our two children lived in an RV for a season while we renovated one of our homes and again when we renovated his mother's home. We were in an older Class-A motor home, our children were small and active (and the motor home had NO slides), but those were some of the happiest memories. It allowed us to help my husband's mother while seeing parts of the country we loved. That Class-A retired long ago, but I recently purchased a travel trailer to help a friend in need. Some thought I was crazy for buying that RV, but it is never wrong to do the right thing. Once that season was over, I found I had an RV sitting in storage more than we could use ourselves. So I decided to share my travel trailer again, but this time on rental platforms like Outdoorsy was born. Whether you are a seasoned RV traveler or want to create new memories this year with your family or significant other, I can think of no better way than to take a vacation in an RV. Pack up and take what is special with you (my puppy and pillows always travel with me!). While traveling to your destination, you'll also get the added bonus of seeing this great nation from a perspective that planes cannot provide.
