Hey there! I'm Alyssa, and I'm hosting alongside my husband, Neil, at R Adventure LLC. We're passionate about travel and the great outdoors, and most importantly, creating access around these spaces. Originally from the Monterey Bay Area, we've explored Big Sur and the central coast extensively. From camping in California to backpacking abroad, we've created unforgettable memories. Now, we're rooted in San Diego, raising our twins. As a family, we adore exploring and sharing adventures with others. That's where our tiny trailer comes in. Everything about this rental and this experience was 10/10. Pickup was excellent and Alyssa gave us a full walk through of the essentials and also had a bunch of how to videos which made answering all our questions a breeze. The cleanliness of the camper was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed and more (loved the handheld vacuum for easy cleaning at the end of each day). This was an awesome camper to take our 2.5 yr old camping for the first time and we can’t wait to go again!

We rented Marshmallow for our son’s fifth birthday and went to Dos Picos campground. Wow, I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Marshmallow. This was the best vacation we’ve had as a family. The kids LOVED the camper and felt immediately at home in it. Alyssa and Neil were amazing at communicating expectations for the weekend, helping to get the tow set up, checking in throughout the weekend and helping with unhitching. The whole experience was easy for us and we have never towed anything in our cars in our lives, and this was our first family camping trip since my baby girl was born. We all were able to sleep well as a family of four and had the absolute best time together. Thank you so much Alyssa and Neil! We can’t wait till next time!

This Happier Camper was perfect for extra accommodations for family members who were in town for the weekend. We absolutely loved how easy setup was, and the hosts made our trip all that much better! Highly recommend this little HC1!

We had lots of questions for Alyssa before our rental. She was responsive and accommodating and made sure we were ready for our big trip. The whole family loved the Marshmallow on our week long trip. It worked perfectly and had tons of storage. It was easy to pull and tracked well. Setting it up for sleep or prepping it to tow was easy. Sink, solar, lights . . . Just worked like they should. Our two kids loved the bunks and my wife and I were comfortable in the back and I just fit at 6’5” (tight but not bad). We hooked up to shore power one night when temps were hot and the AC cooled us down nicely. Great little camper from great people.

Both the host, Alyssa, and the trailer, Marshmallow, were amazing! Alyssa was very responsive to messages, very helpful, and answered any questions we had. The trailer is very nice, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our trip and this was our favorite trailer we have rented! The trailer was very easy to tow and perfect for a weekend camping trip.
