Excellent equipment and service. I have rented jeeps from Cypress Overland annually for four years and I can highly recommend renting a camping jeep from them.

As first timers to overlanding, we really wanted an experienced person taking the reigns on planning our trip. And Christian delivered more than what we could have imagined! Not only was the rig amazing (what a fun vehicle to drive!), but the location that was chosen for us was exactly what we wanted: completely secluded and connected solely to nature. This was the experience I'd been dreaming of and I'm so grateful Cypress Overland and Christian could bring it to life.

Amazing experience that now has us hooked for life. They give you everything you need to have the best camping trip. Their vehicles are very capable and fun to drive in the back country. The staff is very friendly and knowedgable to answer any questions.

What an INCREDIBLE trip! Beaches, Mountains, Forests, Deserts - October 14th - October 24th, 2021. Red Jeep Gladiator. Can't wait to book our next adventure with Cypress Overland.From the start, Marie and Ben at Cypress Overland were very helpful in setting up our trip. Myself and a friend arrived at the pickup location and ran through the orientation on how to use everything such as the different drive settings, rooftop tent, power, AluBox and anything we'd use along the way.
We headed South straight along the coast for Big Sur, spending our first night just outside of Monterey (beautiful town!). Following Ben and Maries advice, the next morning we went to a viewpoint that overlooks the coastline and setup to make coffee - amazing views!
From here we headed all the way out to Death Valley and up through Yosemite - every day we were blown away by the performance and ease of use. The bedslide was an incredible feature that allowed us to grab anything we needed without having to pull the front items out. A super quick folding table and chairs set gave us the ability to pull up and sit outside comfortably within seconds - everything is so top of the line and useful. The Alu-Box setup was so handy, grabbing everything you need out of the one box. We couldn't believe how huge the rooftop tent was, so much room up there!! We explored the deserts, enjoyed coffee in some incredible remote areas, and cooked some delicious meals at beautiful locations. Some areas were so remote, it felt like another planet!
Towards the end of our trip came the cold weather, rain, wind and snow. We were nervous about the rain and wind, however the ease of setup made for a simple and fast transition from drive mode to camp, we had no problems with the rain or wind at all! The wind did not affect the rooftop tent, and we were fast asleep on the cozy and spacious matress. We travelled back to San Francisco and didn't want to give the Overlander back!!
All in all, I cannot recommend Cypress Overland enough - Ben and Marie really make sure you're all set for the adventure of a lifetime. From the pickup to dropoff, we can't be more happy we chose Cypress Overland.

We were blown away by the car and the itinerary through Death Valley. We got a lot of compliment along the way about the car and its setup. It got us through the rough roads of Death Valley without issues. Ben and Marie took the time to explain everything before and it was very well equipped with all the basics. We look forward to be on the road again in the Rubicon!

Had an awesome time renting this Jeep for a week. The owners were very accommodating and spent extra time to review all the ins and outs of the rental. Looking forward to my next adventure with Cypress Overland!

Alex and Dmitri are super friendly and well organized. Vehicles I saw appear well maintained with the kit needed to support you off grid for several days. The Jeep in particular is up to any adventure within reason.

We had a wonderful trip. The vehicle came exactly as described and set up was easy (even for us first-timers). The fridge, kitchen, and tent were clutch for dispersed camping either in a national forest or at a remote hipcamp. We can't wait to rent again and plan our next adventure!

Super joyful and welcoming at the pickup. Helpful the whole way. Very clean ride it felt like we were the first to use it. I will definitely recommend you to anyone who is interested in renting an overland trip! Gave me the bug for overlanding for sure! Thanks for the amazing service.
