City Escapes is an NYC-based travel company that provides unique travel experiences throughout the Northeast. Started in 2017 by childhood friends Chris & Dan, this professional but small operation has hosted thousands of guests across multiple vacation rental properties. In 2022, City Escapes launched the Adventure Van which aims to bring "Van Life" to the East Coast along with multiple curated trail experiences throughout the Northeast.

The Solis was pretty good, everything that was needed was there. I would recommend including a level to check for tilts before parking, for optimal sleeping/bathing potential

We took the van for a long weekend on spur of the moment. Communications and pick-up were completely clear and prompt. The is impeccable and very well equipped. We only needed to take a small outside grill for cooking and most sites to stay at have picnic tables, so you pretty much pull up and relax. It’s very comfy, and useful small toilet for the middle of the night! It’s very easy to drive if you driven a u haul or similar. Sits at 65mph for a cruise to your destination and feels great. We used Hipcamp to book two sits in upstate New York. We avoided the state park sites and went off the near a little. Can recommend Boulder Park near Pine Bush. We had the whole site to ourselves! Tips for use are all about getting airflow into the van to keep cool in the heat - it has fly screens all round and you can pop the roof and open vents up there too. It has a heater too if it gets nippy although we didn’t use it. Toilet and water easy to use. If I’m doubt, just go for it. You’ll want one afterwards!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! I can’t recommend this camper van enough. Dan was excellent to work with to plan out our route, help with the necessary provisions and gave us some great recommendations along the way. The renting and return processes were seamless and efficient.
