We've been going between vanlife and living in a sailboat for a couple of years now. My first van was a classic 1978. We have now upgraded to an awesome Sprinter. It's brought us across Canada and through the USA. We're excited to have other people also share the joys of it. :)

I wasn't going to do this review as I don't do negative reviews...but everyone is telling me I should because it was VERY negative.
First of all, we were willing to pay the price because we wanted a toilet...BUT THERE IS NO TOILET EVEN THOUGH IT IS LISTED AS A FEATURE!!!! So Natalie says "well if you read the whole description, near the bottom it says there is a bucket for a toilet"....Excuse me but an ice cream bucket (which is exactly what it was-a used ice cream bucket-is NOT TO BE LISTED AS A TOILET!!!!! The van is supposed to have a table that converts to a bed. Well we had to sleep on the benches with the table between us and above our heads. Even with 2 of us, we could not get the table out. Natalie said when we got back that it was a new bracket so maybe stiff. She later sent a photo of the bed put together but not sure how that helped us. Were it me (I rent air bnbs out to people) I would have at least compensated something for a van where we could not even use the bed!!!! And then we pick it up and the gas tank is NOT full....she says the first bar gone means it needs $10 worth of fuel...but it was more like $60. I then researched and found out that yes the first bar is much longer than the rest because it represents the most fuel usage. But she did not compensate for that-and you have to return the tank full!!! So I couldn't bring it back missing a bar....hmmmmm. Oh and the "free" mileage-her place is 45 kms from the freeway so you use up one day's "free" mileage getting to the freeway and back....the van is old, but I wouldn't have cared about that. We rented 2 other MUCH older vans later in the summer. I gave both of them full star reviews. They functioned and old is fine-not functional and ice cream bucket and gas rip off not fine at all!!!! AND with all of this, she still charged us for the 200 (less than 200 actually) "extra" kms we drove over the free allowance. No bed, no toilet and we had to fill the tank....and still got extra charges piled on. I have never had such a poor rental experience!!!

Nathalie was really helpful and communiticative through the whole process. The van was easy to drive, clean and so much fun! Everything worked perfectly and we had an awesome trip.

Nathalie was great do deal with, she was personable and accommodating. The van was super comfortable to drive and was so fun to camp in, it had everything we needed. What a great experience, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great vehicle at a fair price. Mercedes Benz is an iconic brand for a reason, although a 2007-08 isn’t state of the art, you don’t expect it to be.

We had a great time renting this fab for the weekend! We had a few mechanical issues but nothing that interfered with our overall experience. The van was clean and easy to drive. I would for sure recommend this van rental to anyone looking to get away for the weekend!!
