Jim was the Best to rent from! He was fast to answer all of our messages. He was flexible with our pick up & drop off times. We flew into Denver & he helped us with extras (2 men sleeping bag & pillows). He sent us a link to watch about setting the tent up. When we arrived at his house, he showed us how to set it up. It really was easy. We hadn't tent camped in over 30 years and had never camped on top of a vehicle roof. We spent 10 days traveling around CO with his rig which allowed us to stay in the Parks. We got good at setting it up even after dark. Even enjoyed looking at the stars through the top of the tent. This was a great trip! I would recommend renting the RAV4/tent from Jim!

My friends and I (4 total) had a great time using the Rav4! The rooftop tent was extremely easy to set up and it's pretty comfortable too. We paid extra for the cooking gear and cooler - which I also recommend if you are planning on being out for a couple of days. Our interactions with Jim were great: easy pick up and drop off. I would definitely recommend this booking.

Jim was awesome to rent from. He was very easy to get ahold of and gave a bunch of instructions and helpful hints when we picked up the car. Very sturdy and reliable tent set-up. Very comfortable. If camping in the winter bring extra blankets, very cold. Overall amazing experience. Will definitely keep this rental in mind if we go back to Colorado.

Jim made it super easy to pick up and drop off his vehicle. He is super quick to respond to the most mundane of questions and was extremely helpful in sending documents to further assist any questions I had. His Toyota Rav4 Made for a great mountain excursion through the rockies. Would recommend. 5 stars!

I've been looking to get a rooftop tent and to visit friends in CO this was a great rig to do that. had plenty of power for passing in the mountains and comfortable for long drives. My girlfriend and I had a great time visiting CO from MI. Jim was very responsive in communication and provided all the needed information related to the vehicle and rooftop tent ahead of time and offered to show us how to set it up if needed in person. We had no problems setting up at the end of the day and even in the dark. If you're looking to try out a car tent this is the way and makes a great replacement to an Airbnb and rental car if you're looking to do some camping.I would definitely rent this again and recommend this if I was visiting CO and looking to head into the mountains again.

I rarely write reviews but I can't recommend Jim and this car/tent enough!!Jim was SO GREAT and easy to work with - flexible with pick up and drop off and amazing to communicate with as we had a few questions! We were traveling from out of town and he helped us out with extra sleeping bags & pillows, which was a total lifesaver!! His place is also right outside Denver which made everything a breeze.There were 4 of us total (all adults) and we did a weekend trip into the Rockies.. the car was perfectly clean, spacious, & in great shape. The tent was SO EASY TO POP UP and all 4 of us fit so comfortably... 2 below w/ an inflatable mattress and 2 in the tent up top which already had a mattress pad inside.Will 100% be renting again next time we return. Thank you Jim!!

Jim is very courteous, flexible with his time. The trailer was mostly as described on the website. Was clean and comfortable and in GREAT shape for its age. Set up was easy thanks to Jim’s good tutoring. Would like to have used the trailer’s built in heater at our 10,000 ft campground but it was not operational. Overall my wife and I would rent this trailer again from Jim.

Thank you so much for renting Bluebell from us, and thank you returning her in better shape then we gave her to you. The heater does work and works really well, it actually sometimes works too well. It just does need a power source and I know you were dry camping. I apologize if I didn't communicate that.

Jim was great- the camper was very clean and he dropped it off and picked it up right on time. He took the time to show us how to set everything up and gave us the hitch equipment. I would recommend renting the BlueBelle!

Jim was great to work with, always answered messages quickly, flexible with pick up/drop off times, and accommodating with extras/add ons. Tent and car were both in good shape, vehicle was reliable and without issue. It was our first time using a roof top tent, took us a day or two to get the hang of it (but not difficult). It rained on us everyday of our 4 day trip and the rain fly kept the inside of the tent dry nicely. Overall would recommend renting this car/tent combo from Jim!

Vehicle was in tip-top shape! So if you place a high value on vehicle reliability, this is it! We had not tried a rooftop tent before and were delighted with the Yakima. It was clean, roomy and the rain fly was already attached which was great since it rained on the first evening. We also appreciated the fact that Jim always returned calls promptly (within 5 minutes). Another example of the care he has put into ensuring that users have a trouble-free experience was the fact that he anticipated possible problems, i.e., although we didn't need it, he had an extra battery for the remote in the glove box!

The owner, Jim, was cordial and very helpful in showing us how to set up and take down the pop up camper. Also, during our trip he reached out to us to make sure everything was operating smoothly. If you want to experience camping off the ground yet in the outdoors I recommend Jim’s camper without any reservation.
