Hey there! We are Derek & Kendra Owens. We love camping & hiking and try to make it out with our family a few times a season. We love living and camping in West Michigan and trust you will entirely enjoy your visit here as well if this is your destination. Renting these campers is a joint venture for us with some friends. We hope it provides you the opportunity to go camping and enjoy the great outdoors from the comfort of a well outfitted camper with good storage solutions that make it more functional that your typical RV. We keep the campers well stocked with all the essentials that make our own trips more enjoyable and we trust will do the same for you. Some of our favorite camping spots in Michigan include PJ Hofmaster, Luddington. Traverse City, Straights of Mackinaw, Indian Lake, South Higgins Lake, Porcupine Mountains, Petoskey, Manistee, Holland, Grand Haven, South Haven. Orchard Beach. Tahquamenon Falls. Some of our favorite camping spots beyond the boarders of Michigan include Rocky Mountain National Park - CO, Mammoth Caves - KY, Hocking Hills - OH, Estes Park - CO, Algonquin Provincial Park - Canada, Indiana Dunes. Derek is amazing! The person who left a bad review is nuts. He was super knowable and caring. He was able to flex his schedule so that we could meet him at a convenient time for both of us. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Derek is a very busy owner. The lack of follow through with paperwork, itinerary and additional required payments at the last minute was disappointing. This was booked in February and I felt there was plenty of time for Derek to be on top of his rentals. We experienced a non-functioning microwave, and a automatic awning that was not available (due to the previous renters negligence). We paid for delivery and set-up. We felt that the tent that was supplied, in place of the awning, should have been more secure so that we did not have to recover it from the wind when other campers with similar tents had the use of shade during a very hot week.

The trailer was very nice and well stocked. There was plenty of sleeping room for my family of five. There was even an oven, although we did not use it. Derek was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

This was our first time renting an RV. We were very pleased with the experience. The owner was very thorough and helpful throughout the process. RV was very clean and well kept. The only mechanical issue we experienced was with the microwave. It didn’t work 100% of the time. However, overall we were very pleased and had a great time. We would definitely recommend this RV to others.

This was my first camping with a trailer. My family had a wonderful time. The camper is super clean and comes with everything we need for camping and towing. Derek is a very nice guy. He taught me how to operate a trailer and even gave me a lesson on towing and parking. I feel lucky that I picked his camper for my vacation. Thank you Derek!

Our family had a fantastic trip thanks to Derek. The Camper was even better than we imagined. So many little added touches the were practical and charming. Derek was very helpful and easy to communicate. He answered all my questions and provided detailed information. We will definitely rent from him on our next adventure!
