Great rental experience from start to finish. The owner helped me with the initial hookup to my truck and even provided a sway bar, which I really appreciated.
I pulled the camper with a 2024 Nissan Titan with the 5.6L V8, and it handled it with no problem. We drove all the way to Chicago and back without any issues. Hooking up and setting up at the campsites was simple and straightforward.
The camper was very clean, well cared for, and everything worked as it should. We had plenty of hot water for showers, the gas stove worked great, and the AC kept the camper nice and cool. Pets are also allowed, which was a big plus since we traveled with our two small dogs.
If you're comfortable towing a trailer, you really can't go wrong renting this camper. And if you've been thinking about buying a camper but aren't sure whether it's for you, renting this one would be a great way to give RV camping a trial run before making the investment.
