Having spent many years camping, backpacking, climbing and skiing all around the world, we have finally found our ideal mode of travel and we want to share it with others. Our typical trip involves travel over the North Cascades Highway, out in the San Juan Islands or up in British Columbia for some camping in out of the way locations. We often look for forest service or back country campgrounds. We are usually completely alone and we are able to find a campground near a stream or lake so that we can enjoy some fly fishing while we are there. The Westfalia van complete with full kitchen and forced air propane furnace allows us to enjoy or vans throughout the year no matter what the weather. Our family had a wonderful weekend trip in Bob and Maureen's Westfalia. The van's extremely well-appointed, and in excellent condition for its age, with loads of storage. Plenty of space for 3 adults and one toddler (plus belongings), comfortably shuttling and sleeping the four of us. Highly recommended, would rent again!

We had an excellent trip visiting Bellingham, Mount Baker and the North Cascades National Park, Mount Rainier, Olympic National Park and the Seattle area. The Silver Star was the perfect camper van suited for our 5-day tour of the Pacific Northwest! Bob went out of his way to make sure we had a flawless experience with the van!

We really enjoyed renting from Chuckanut Westfalias. Coming from the Midwest for a Vancouver Island trip it worked out perfectly. Bob was super helpful all along, with advice about camping, ferries, and the region in general he was super informative and accommodating. The van was in perfect condition when we picked it up, it was well stocked with everything we needed to cook, clean, and camp. We would recommend Chuckanut to anyone who wants to explore the Pacific Northwest!

REALLY clean van with lots of extra touches. The pans were amazing to cook on (now we want some) and coffee on the morning was a breeze. Before we left a detailed walk through was done teaching us the ins and outs of the van. Very professional and will defiantly rent from Bob and Mo again!

We had another great trip with Chuckanut Westfalias, our 4th trip in as many years. This time we had the Van Gogh and our family really enjoyed the retro appeal with a lot of creature comforts. It was a great fit for our family (2 adults and one teenager). As usual, Bob was super easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs for the trip. Thanks so much.

Bob and Maureen were great hosts for the Tofino.
Bob has the Tofino dialed with everything you need for a great trip.
The Tofino is in excellent condition and runs great.
I appreciated the tutorial at pick-up on how everything in the Tofino operated.
Bob also has an easy-to-reference 3-ring binder with pictures you can consult if you have additional questions when you are on your own with the Tofino.
Bob is knowledgeable about recreational areas and is a great resource.
We went to La Push for our trip with the Tofino and had a wonderful time.
I hope to make the trip again in the Tofino.

What an awesome experience! Bob is truly passionate about his vans and it shows in the precise attention to detail that is everywhere in and out of the vehicle. We rented for a week and went to the Cascades to camp in the van. The wonderful heat kept us toasty, the separate battery insured we could listen to music and charge our camera, flashlights and phones all night if we wanted to and not run down the car battery- the swiss cookware is so nice, I might have to splurge and buy some for my home! All the communication was right on and we feel like we have a VW uncle now in Bellingham. Wonderful trip- Thanks Bob!

The van was amazing! My sister, her two girls and I had a wonderful time! Bob and Maureen had everything you could ever need! So helpful, and had great ideas for our trip too! We went to Mt Rainier, the coast, and the Hoh Rainforest. Took the Ferry back to Bellingham! (their idea) We covered a lot of ground and not once did I question the van. Its very well maintained and taken care, very very clean. Our trip was so fun! would recommend 100000 times

We totally enjoyed our camper van rental from Chuckanut. The reservation was easy to do and the owners answered any questions. The van is obviously well taken care of and the features were well explained at pickup. Everything we needed was provided. We had no problems with the van during our rental. We had one simple question during our rental which was resolved quickly with a call to Bob. Highly recommend Chuckanut and we would chose them again for future trips.
