We had such a great trip!! Perfect for two people and a great way to explore the outdoors. Hosts communication was good and she was flexible with pick up and drop off times which was super helpful. She walked us through how to operate everything on the van pretty thoroughly. The fridge was still not working but we were provided with a small fridge/freezer unit that was sufficient. We'll be booking again for future adventures!

The host was very available by phone, and the camper van was very nice and clean. Easy to drive. But instead of the broken refrigerator, she provided a chest-style plug in cooler which took up a lot of floor space and prevented the front passenger seat from swiveling to be used as a seat in the camper. The freezer in the cooler did not work, and at drop-off she told me I had to use an app to operate the freezer. That would have been nice to know up front. Also, the step at the sliding door still did not work, but she did provide a small step stool (which was too short for me but better than nothing). The screen over the sliding door had several tears in it, allowing bees and mosquitoes in. It got very cold at night so when I called her about turning on the heat, she wasn't able to instruct me. Her suggestion was to run the car engine and use that heater. The sensor on the gray/black water tank may not be operating because it still read 87% after I emptied it and rinsed it out, but I took a video at pick-up and found it read 87% full at that time. If she would take the time to have all the repairs made, it would be a perfect vehicle that I would rent again.

the owner was great to work with and communicate with. the van was an easy driver. make sure you communicate if you need bedding

Overall we had a good experience. The van drives great and is very comfortable. I think the bed was the most comfortable camper bed we have ever slept on. The fact that the fridge was broken and also the step for the slider door was disappointing but we managed.

Freedom to park wherever you want is key, followed by ability to boondock. This unit is independent for 3-4 days, with the battery and tankage systems. Heating systems, water and cabin heat, should be tested prior to departure.
