The vehicle served us really well during our 2 weeks outdoors trip spanning from LA-Joshua Tree-Grand Canyon-Vegas-Yosemite-San Fran-Pacific Highway and Vance to LA.Drive: The drive is great, with reasonable fuel consumption and great steering/handling.Parking: Might be slightly trickier in the city but we had no issues at all while camping. Just watch up for height restrictions at this vehicle is at almost 10 ft.Power: There’s a generator for power and multiple charging ports for usb cables. If there’s power at the camp site, the vehicle can be plugged in too for constant power.Heating: There’s liquid petroleum (LP) available which can be turned on to power 2 gas stoves. This same LP can generate heat for cold nights as well. We only used 2/3 of it for almost 2 weeks of camping. He can even provide sleeping bags, and we were comfortable sleeping within the vehicle and even the pop up top at 10C weathers.Capacity: the vehicle sits 4 comfortably for a drive as there’s 4 seat belts. For resting, there’s a queen sized bed that can be converted from a sofa; this sleeps 2. The pop up top above the vehicle sleeps 2 as well. And I believe we could’ve added 1 more foam bed to sleep at the driver’s seat.Showers/water: the water runs out pretty fast even with just regular washing and cooking. The water is not sufficient for 4 x showers, so might have to be plugged in for this purpose. Shower space is pretty cramped; manageable for a tall and medium built Asian but perhaps squeeze for anyone largerHost: Richard and his wife has been helpful and professional throughout. Our questions are answered thoroughly with fast replies and they were flexible with pick ups and drop offs. We unfortunately damaged the side of his vehicle but he was professional throughout the whole process. His wife even provided a rice cooker knowing that we were asians and that definitely came in handy.I would recommend this rental extremely highly
