Hi! My name is Jean-Luc, as the son of two flight attendants I've always had a passion for travel and adventure. Growing up right next to the rocky mountains has made the perfect playground for all the activities I've fallen in love with. After living in my van for a few months and surfing everyday I figured I could make a little business out of renting these awesome adventure vehicles out. Now I hope for you to enjoy my vans and make amazing memories just as I have.

We rented Connie, a vintage van conversion, to camp for a few days in Kananaskis country.
She was clean and well-cared for and stocked with camping essentials.
We found Connie challenging to drive in the mountains, but we are prairie folk used to driving our small cars on flat, straight roads...
We ran into a few problems with plumbing and electrical systems, which we managed on site. Jean-Luc was prompt in resolving the situation to our satisfaction.

Jean Luc was wonderful to deal with. Transparent and flexible. We would not hesitate to book with him again! Connie is also a gem of course!

Our travel with Connie was amazing!
It’s an old school RV really well maintained, with all you need for some days in the beautiful nature of Canada!
Also Jean Luc was really sweet and helpful all the time! The only thing I wanted to know before is that The RV contains both a functional video tape and audio tape!!! I wish I had recorded my favorite songs to listen on my way, as old times haha.
Strongly recommended it!

y first time van camping was a total success due to Character Campers! We had the pleasure of taking Harrison on his inaugural trip to Jasper and Banff! The dropoff and pickup was seamless; Jean-luc was great to work with (provided us with the bedding we needed, some basic cleaning supplies, and had good communication). The layout of the van utilized every square inch in the most efficient way possible; my group of 4 fit quite comfortably in the van for our 5-day trip. Will happily rent from Character Campers again the next time I’m in Canada!

Zeph was in tip top shaped when I went to pick it up! Jean-luc was very quick to answer any queries and provide helpful advice. A great way to explore around, highly reccomend.

On a passé un peu plus de 2 semaines sur la route avec Connie. On ne peut que recommander !! C’était vraiment super, il y a tout le nécessaire à l’intérieur. La taille du véhicule est très pratique pour passer un peu partout, que ce soit dans les camping mais aussi dans des endroits plus improvisés :)
Très bonne communication avec JeanLuc aussi ! Donc n’hésitez pas à réserver :)

JeanLuc was so great to work with and when we had issues with our flight he was super adaptable, helpful, and understanding.
We loved getting to rent Connie, she drives great and had everything we needed for an awesome trip!

Nous avons passé une excellente expérience avec le van loué chez Jean-Luc. Le véhicule était en parfait état, très propre et vraiment bien équipé : tout a été pensé pour le confort à bord, que ce soit pour dormir, cuisiner ou se détendre. Il était parfaitement adapté pour trois personnes, avec suffisamment de place pour chacun.
La prise en main du van s’est faite facilement grâce aux explications claires de Jean-Luc, qui s’est montré très disponible et réactif dès le début. Il répondait rapidement à nos questions, avant et pendant la location, ce qui nous a permis de partir en toute sérénité.
Le voyage s’est déroulé sans le moindre souci, et nous avons pleinement profité de cette parenthèse en van. Nous recommandons vivement Jean-Luc pour la qualité de son véhicule et sa gentillesse. Si l’occasion se représente, nous relouerons Zephrin avec plaisir !

We had a great trip with Zeph. It was very helpful that Jean Luc had put in a new battery, so we had no worries when staying on campgrounds without electricity. He was also super kind and fexible with regard to our special wishes.

My husband and I had an amazing advenmture driving Connie up and down the Rockies. It was a great way to travel around, not having to check in and out of hotels or being bound to one place. And it's great because you just drive up, plug in, and in our case a few times, climb in the back and go to sleep. But she has everything you need for camping, as we cooked a few nights too. JeanLuc was a great host, answering questions before, during, and after the trip. After, because he had some items to send home to us that we left in Connie. Awesome host. We woud rent from him anytime!

We rented Connie for a week in Jasper/Banff and had the greatest time!! Connie was the perfect size for the four of us and all of our luggage. She had some quirks, but they made us love her even more! JeanLuc equipped us with everything we could have needed - pots, pans, towels, pillows, recommendations, and more! He was incredibly responsive and I would rent from him again in a heartbeat!

We rented Doug for a 10-day adventure through Banff National Park. It was our first time in a campervan but we felt immediately at home in the van and loved the vintage charm! Doug was super reliable on the road and kept us comfortable throughout the trip, equipped with everything we needed and so cozy even on cold nights!

I rented the van for me and my parents visiting from Japan to travel through to Columbia Ice Field from Cangary airport late May. I was very happy to have a wonderful camping experience in the Rockies with my senior parents who had never done camping even their home before. Thank you, JeanLuc! You always responded and supported us during our trip. That was the biggest part that helped making our camping trip successful and unforgettable memory in the Rockies for them.🏔️😊🚙 ✨
