Michael was such a great host! He met us at the Airport with 'Elroy' and after a quick tutorial, we were off. We had a such a memorable trip. The ability to camp off grid and still have amenities like a bathroom, shower, heat and hot water made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. The van was just as described, and was equipped with everything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to rent another van from Michael in the future.

Michael was a great host and helped make us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Leading up to the trip Michael was very communicative about pickup and was able to accommodate our pickup at our hotel since we had so many bags and a tight turnaround after our elopement the day before. After a quick tutorial, we were off. We had one minor thing come up while we were on our trip and Michael responded immediately to help troubleshoot. We had a such a memorable trip and the ability to boondock and still have amenities like a bathroom, shower, and hot water made the whole experience that much enjoyable and flexible. I wouldn't hesitate to rent another van from Michael in the future.

Pre Arrival - Michael lets us know that the Revel we booked had a cracked windshield and asked if he could delay us a few hours while it was fixed, or trade it out for another similar Revel. Big plus of using Big Sky is that he has a small fleet of vehicles meaning he can trade out if necessary. We opted to trade out.

The Revel itself had everything we needed for our trip. Michael provided extra comforts to make the trip easier. We loved this van and are already planning our next trip.

I am an over planner. I knew my wife and I would be in this camper for almost three weeks for our 'Mighty 5' trip and I was very concerned about getting into something we didn't like. I touched base with several owners before connecting with Michael and he was, hands-down, the most communicative and patient.First - the platform. Winnebago on top of the Mercedes chassis made this a no brainer. The 'off-grid' features of this camper were necessary since most of the National Parks (and several of the State Parks) do not have any hookups, including electricity. Who cares, when driving to the next trailhead and back charged all the systems. A little planning around water - and the 'necessities' were taken care of. I'm over 6' and the bed worked for me. I'm not going to oversell the bed - it is a camper after all, but after our busy days hiking and biking, sleeping was not a problem. I waffled on the StarLink for weeks before reserving it. WOW! It was amazing and I would even say necessary if you need to get online. So FAST! We only had one issue with the camper for the whole 3 weeks ... and guess what. It was user error. About 3 texts with Michael and all was resolved (sorry for waking you Michael :-) )Finally - the host. I kinda referenced him above, he was incredible. He calmed my stresses and by the time we dropped of "Elroy", I felt like we were friends. I had been texting and messaging him for months prior to arriving, we had a seemless pickup, any communications on the road were responded to very quickly, and he was very accommodating for the drop-off. I've even started pestering him about expanding his business to El Paso for our next National Park road trip next spring!

The Revel proved to be everything we needed. We stayed in various campgrounds at a state park, a designated BLM camp, an RV park and some dispersed spots. It had room for everything we brought along for our adventures and ample space for two people to spend a week traveling between excursions. Michael prepared and stocked the van with all the basic needs and amenities and made sure we had everything we needed and that all of our questions were answered. It was truly a pleasure to have this be our introduction into the van life and we look forward to planning more trips in the future!

This is our second time renting from Michael/Big Sky Trek. Both times were flawless. Michael is a fantastic host and keeps his rigs in great shape. He is also very responsive to any questions or asks. We drove the rig 10 days thru Death Valley, Mojave, and around the lower Colorado river area (Las Vegas pickup/drop-off). I recommend this business both in review and in-person to anyone who inquires.

I took a solo backpacking trip to Great Basin National Park and Red Rock Canyon and had a blast getting away from work and the stresses of life for a little while - the Revel performed well and was everything I needed and more. Michael is exceptionally responsive to questions, issues, and just general communications. Michael is also vry accommodating to pick-up and drop-off locations. All in all, I would be happy to work with Michael again and likely will (Nevada is absolutely beautiful).

First, Michael is a solid host. He is a great communicator, friendly, professional and accommodating. Example: Took him 30s to respond to a 11:30pm txt with something we could not figure out, and he followed up the next day.

The trip was fantastic. Everything was exactly as described and expected! We traveled through tons of backcountry areas and saw all all kinds of parks, monuments, and more. We would very highly recommend this host to anyone!
