Hello and thank you for taking the time to check out my RV! My 7 years of rental experience will serve you well in your quest to explore and enjoy Alaska in a clean, safe and well stocked motor home. I consider myself lucky to be living in a place surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty and I look forward to sharing my knowledge of Alaska’s road system and my favorite locations to go RVing - including a few “secret” spots. I have traveled extensively in Alaska, the continental US and internationally. My favorite trip is anywhere I can see an outdoor music festival with friends. Joel is awesome! I would rent from him again any time, we had an excellent experience. The camper was exactly as shown, and very nicely equipped. Everything operated correctly and we were walked through how to use everything. Communications were easy and fast, which was really appreciated. He has quite a fleet so if this in didn’t quite right definitely consider his others. Just great!

Joel was very nice, but if I had known the generator did not work , which runs everything inside I would have never rented this motor home. NoA/C no microwave no lights. The a/c on the engine of the motor home only blew out from the defrost. I was very dissatisfied. But what was I suppose to do . I flew into anchorage and go to pick up an RV that does not preform like it should. I already had camp sites rented dates to be there. This was unacceptable. It was my honeymoon for 2 weeks. Unbelievable...

I am sorry you feel this way, Tracy.My solution was to provide you with a 2000watt Honda portable generator, capable of handling all the power needs in the RV. Granted, you couldn’t run it unless you were stationary but in my opinion, not a major setback. Further, it is inaccurate to claim that the generator runs “everything” in the RV when in fact, it’s only required when running the microwave, TV or power outlets. The lights, refrigerator, stove and oven, heater, and hot water heater all run on the 12 volt battery system and propane. Again, the portable generator was a more than adequate replacement.

Had a wonderful trip in AK with Joel's Ford F150! Had a nice topper with mattress setup in the back. Truck drove great for the mileage and the price was very reasonable. Joel was super accommodating with my last minute rental, since my original rental was cancelled the night before my trip. I would certainly recommend this economical option if you want a comfortable ride in AK.

Joel our host was great. We had a wheel issue and outdoorsy roadside assistance was horrible. My wife called them and explained what was needed which was more than just a tire change and was told the best that could be done was a tow with no hope in sight for a remedy since this was an early Saturday afternoon. We were told that they couldn’t find any business to help out because of our “remote” location. We were basically in a suburb of Anchorage, Alaska. It was hardly a remote location. I found 2 mobile mechanics on my own who both came out to help. The one agreed with the other’s diagnosis and then left. We finally were back on the road 5 hours later. It should have been 3 but at least we were not stranded till Monday or worse.
Joel the RV owner was very responsive and helpful with this issue but he should have double checked his mechanics work as this issue could have resulted in a very serious situation. Otherwise, his rig functioned well and served our needs. Joel also picked us up at the airport and took us to our Airbnb at the end of the trip. This was very much appreciated.
